    What kind of controller do I need for my XDC 600 2000WATTS DUAL MOTORS ,please let me know so I can get one.

      well your gonna need 2 if its dual motor? are you trying to repair or upgrade? you think your controller is bad but there should be two What is it doing or not doing?

    Does it tell you what phase wire is bad? Will a light light up on yellow, green or blue?

    • @robertmotion
      @robertmotion Před 5 měsíci

      yes. device indicates the wire color and wire letter.

    Hi chriscross....is it possible to use this device for escooter too????

    • @robertmotion
      @robertmotion Před 5 měsíci

      yes. device can be used on any electric ride that use 3-phase motor wires and hall sensor lines coming from motor.

    Do they have different connectors types ? I’m trying to Test an Ariel Rider motor.

      @ChrisCrossingWires1212  Před 11 měsíci +1

      it has alligator clips on the motor leads there phase wires so yes can test any motor

      you can make connectors so one end connects to testing device and other end connects to your ebike wire(s) you're testing.

    Hi there is a difference in which direction to turn the wheel clockwise or counterclockwise?

    • @ChrisCrossingWires1212

      no , not at all

    If all 3 of my lights stay on solid are all 3 shorted??

    • @ChrisCrossingWires1212
      @ChrisCrossingWires1212  Před rokem

      yes absolutely, if your rotating your wheel the should change in sequence if they stay solid definitely a short.

    • @Malcheesecake827
      @Malcheesecake827 Před rokem +1

      Yea rotating the wheel and they stay solid… i do get the flicker on the other set of lights though… my ebike is not powering on at all though… hoping these hall sensors are the problem… already put a new controller and new display

      @@Malcheesecake827 is definitely the problem, at least you learned now this was the first test you should have done. that would have saved you from replacing the controller but you probably didn't have that yet. those testers are worth their weight in gold.i made a video about them and yes they save you allot of money if you use them first. I'm not sure what kind of motor you have if it's not a QS or NB power some other direct drives have all three sensors on one circuit board you can replace them all at once if it is a QS you have to change them individually. if you don't know what type to use I'll post a link

      Yea i just got the tester not sure i have a polarna m6 i think its a bafang 1000w… i think theyll send me a new motor but id also like to play to fix this one… this would keep the bike from powering on at all?

    Hi, is there an issue if all 3 light'up when the tester is switched on, but when turn wheel they light up in sequence?

    • @ChrisCrossingWires1212
      @ChrisCrossingWires1212  Před rokem +1

      ive never seen that usually they all light up there bad and shorted but if there working when you turn maybe not maybe its the tester they are kinda cheap circuits but youd know if there an issue is there any reason for you actually needing to test? no Throttle? bike stuttering? if riding fine Id assume there ok if your just testing for gp. if a hall is bad you have an issue to go along with testing

      @@ChrisCrossingWires1212 I fitted a new KT controller and LCD3 display but can't get the motor to spin. I'm doing 36 hall/phase wire sequence swap but display is not consistent as keep getting 03 hall sensor error code intermittently - the hall wires are so thin I cant get better connection. Any ideas on how I can get stable connection?
      Yes, I think the tester has circuit problem because sometimes I shake it and lights come on and off.
      The bike works with my old controller, but throttle gets stuck at top speed so think the 5v regulator is broken. Tester confirmed the old controller is indeed faulty.

      @@urbanpuma9136 now when you replace a controller the phase wires although youve matched them color for color being two differnt manufacturers there arent really in phase. your gonna have to swap the blue green and yellow wire combinations untill you get a smooth motor spin in right direction. you wont hurt anything by swapping them when you test justvgive small amount of throttle. there is a chart to help determine correct phase based on what the motor is doing it may spin in rewvers that means 2 of them then needs to be swap, its trial and error but youll know when they are right. google a motor phasing chart to help you. when you fix your bike come back tell me how great I am, lol do not swap hall wires the skinny ones just the thick motor phase ones. it may end up being green to yellow blue to green and green to blue, the colors no longer mean anything there out of phase. P.S. I just gave you some great Free info go fix your bike
