    Good news, Wildey lovers, they're making them again, and if you already have one, they are also making and selling parts (different barrel lengths, for example, and magazines in different calibers)! I believe they're also selling the almost-impossible-to-find .475 Wildey Mag brass (actually just a cut-down 45/70 rifle cartridge, so you can get brass that way too) Good news, indeed!!

      at no small price I imagine, I loved watching death wish 3 as a kid but I never could have imagined seeing one in person (that happened to me back in 2009) I got to hold one but I turned down the opportunity to fire it

    • @krisclay1362
      @krisclay1362 Před 7 lety

      Yes it was roughly in the $2000 to $3000 range. That's depending on the barrel length and whether or not you also want to order factory ammo. Though their website provides details on how to load your own ammo. If I could afford the price tag I would most certainly buy one.

    • @thevashfan12392
      @thevashfan12392 Před 7 lety

      not gonna lie....I grimaced pretty heavily at the site of that much.......that's just infeasible with all the projects I have on my plate......especially taking a vacation to japan in 2019 (which is starting to become a dark cloud over my head because I keep checking my numbers and calculations.....)
      THESE NUMBERS ARE NOT ADDING UP!

    • @krisclay1362
      @krisclay1362 Před 7 lety

      For me it's just I'm attending college so all my money is tied up in my tuition and supplies. Maybe after I've graduated and have a steady source of income I'll begin saving for this kind of a purchase. But then there's the problem of ammo, reloading is an option but it is a whopping 100$ for a box of 50 factory rounds. The nice thing about the Wildey is the adjustable gas feed system which allows you to adjust for home loaded ammo. The Wildey is definitely not a take to the range and shoot all day gun but definitely seems like a fun gun to shoot. My other large gun on my list is a Freedom Arms Model 83 Premier Grade with a 7 1/2 inch barrel chambered for .454 Casull. Like the Wildey these are only made to order and are almost as expensive, but all the reviews I've read speak of the quality in which Freedom Arms takes in making their weapons and It seems like a great gun to own.
