  • We traded Aiello's CivicX out for a 2006 Acura RSX Type S from our friend ‪@503pdxCars‬ and the kid cannot be happier! We're excited about the possibilities and fun this car has in store for us!
Check out this car. One owner, never modded, 135,000 miles. It's used, not abused, and really well maintained. All stock but with some mild restoration. The moldings are all like new, seats have new leather. The only non-sstock items are a set of Koni dampers and the head unit gives some tech features.

The best 2 dr all round coupe that Honda/acura has ever made. High revving k20 with real vtec, 6 speed(no lsd, can swap in a type R or 8th gen si lsd for relatively cheap). Timeless sleek look, driver focused interior, very durable interior(except for seat cushions). Decent sound system, insane reliability and practicality. Amazing aftermarket support. I believe that if Honda made this car with double wishbone suspension it would’ve been the best FWD car ever made(type R version of course). I love mines and I’ve own 5 of them so far, just can’t get away from them man. Super fun and engaging to drive while being practical and reliable.

The RSX is always been one of those cars to be attracted to. Never had the chance to personally experience one or work on one other than lowering customer car more than 12 years ago. Some people really stand by them over the years and I'm excited to learn more about why they love them so much! Myself I'm a TSX fan and know that this is no two-door TSX and a TSX is no four-door RSX. Will be great to compare and contrast those two cars.

@@Heeltoe. I love TSX’s also. You will definitely enjoy this car. There is a lot of misinformation in and around the suspension and the typical bump steer fiasco. If you lower the car at around 1.5-2.25 inches I would recommend you check out honed developments rack raiser, combine it with the SHG rack slider and hardrace roll center correction ball joints and you’ll have the best handling rsx you can get with bolt on stuff.Invest in good coilovers, fortune autos are amazing, I would get the swift springs also. I’ve found that 10k front and 16k rear is the best way to go if you plan on tracking and street driving.

Absolutely love these old Acuras. They’re so hard to find now. I got an 8th Gen Civic, its cousin. But I like the interior in these better.

What a clean example. Can't wait to see more of it. So many of them are beaten, but I have no doubt this one is gonna be done well. Congrats on the purchase!

The S tech tein springs are not level. I’ve had them on my previous Type S. You will find that when you install them they are around 1/2- 3/4 inch lower in the rear.

Thanks for the feedback! Was this a difference in wheel gap or in level of the car?

Wheel gap, if your like me and use your car to buy groceries and stuff and want to run a track spec wheel and tire combo. It gets annoying because it will rub if you don’t roll the fenders.
