Okay, so he made a mistake. It’s not a high capacity mag! Why be so negative? This, by far was the best review I’ve seen on the Shadow 2. Remember what mom said? If you can’t say something nice, do say anything at all. Have a great day everyone!
I recently purchased a CZ Shadow 2 orange. It is by far-the most accurate handgun -out of the box-I have ever fired; hands down.
Guys in Arizona at CZ Custom Shop have taken it a step further with their line of Bull Shadows. Refining the both the Shadow 2, CZ 75, and SP 01 models using a Bull Barrel and Custom slide. Reworked trigger job for shorter reach and reset, polished, 13 lbs springs and comp. hammer. Then there's the Accu-Shadows with hand fitted barrel bushings similar to 1911 design.
I'm a newish pistol shooter, I got the S2 and shot sub 2 inch groups straight out of the box at 15 yards. And it's on video!
It still amazes me how many people don't use the hammer half-cock feature for disassembling and reassembling CZ pistols. Excellent review, excellent pistol, thanks for sharing with us!

It's a standard capacity magazine, that's the magazine that was built for that gun as standard. When a tyrannical state declares you can only have X amount of rounds in a magazine it becomes a limited capacity magazine
Jim Sanders yes, I agree. I was simply stating what is described by the manufacturer. Thankfully in the desert where I live, I don’t have to worry about any capacity regulations!

Great showcase and thanks for teasing me with the .44. You know I'm a revolver guy.
And, I actually find it easier to use the front finger groves to rack the slide, then the rear.
The weight helps felt recoil too.

I'm hoping to get one in a couple weeks, assuming I can find one lol or for that matter ammunition. Last I looked 1000rds of 9mm are going for $800 🤯
Why has the ammo become so expansive in the us? Here in sweden everything is more expansive, but 1000 rounds 9mm is about $240

Because everyone is afraid of gun control if joe biden becomes president. I can't believe you can get 9mm that cheap. Some placed want $800 for a 1000 rounds of 9mm fmj. Its just insane.
Ilove this gun, just got one yesterday. ...but grip the glock and the CZ, look at the relationship of the back of your hand, to where the bore actually is. Yes, the bore is into the frame on the CZ, but the CZ frame is also higher. I've been looking at my other guns in comparison. The bore axis really isn't that much lower, if at all. It's an illusion due to the higher and internal frame rails. They could raise the hand even further on the handle if they re-engineered the hammer and raised the be beavertail. On the black the back of your hand is closer to the frame. I think it's just advertising. That being said, the weight and other ergos make it a tac driver. I was shocked at my first 3 shots at around 15 yards. They made a perfect small triangle. Great gun, but I don't buy the low bore axis thing.
shocker, the striker gun has lower bore axis ... in other news: water - wet
look, the hammer gun simply cannot be engineered in a way that gives it same axis as striker fired gun - you need the leverage on hammer which comes at the cost of some space
now compare the bore axis on that CZ with lets say SiG226 or 1911 ...
secondly bore axis helps BUT its not be all - end all when it comes with recoil. the ergonomics, weight of the frame, weight of the slide and balance have BIGGER impact on felt recoil and muzzle flip than just few mm diference in bore axis ...
I m a newbie, will you able to feel the difference between Shadow 2 orange or TSO. Is it really worth to break the bank spending $2000 or $1200 for regular Shadow 2

I think the larger trigger guard adds sex appeal.
The only thing i really dislike is the huge triggerguard..sporting gloves arent that big
cz is many years late compared to tanfoglio. this is just the stock 3 rebranded. :-)
