- The life and sad ending of The Everly Brothers.
The Everly Brothers were an American country-influenced rock and roll duo, known for steel-string acoustic guitar playing and close harmony singing. Consisting of Isaac Donald "Don" Everly (born February 1, 1937) and Phillip "Phil" Jason Everly (January 19, 1939 - January 3, 2014), the duo was raised in a musical family, first appearing on radio singing along with their father Ike Everly and mother Margaret Everly as "The Everly Family" in the 1940s

Rest in Peace Don...once again The Everly Brothers are a Duo and we're all blessed to have their music to remind us of them.
How ironic that the story of two of the sweetest voices this side of heaven should be told by a dry, lifeless, voice generator. I was fortunate enough to see (and hear) Don and Phil live in concert. Now I get to hear this and can honestly say that I've experienced the two extreme, opposite ends of vocal performances. It's time for some Crying in the Rain.
I think that is a computer animated voice.
I'm distant kin to the everly Brothers thank you very much
im a big fan of the everly brothers. im from Peru im 22 years old. My dream is to make music like this. Country+rockabilly
Rest in peace Phil you are not forgotten and neither is your brother, your music is an inspiration to all musicians especially me, thank you amen God bless you 🌹💗🌈☀️🐦🌸😘🙏🌈☀️🐦
Ich habe sie in meiner Jugend geliebt 👍und jetzt noch
Why do you have some pictures in this video of duos that are NOT the Everly Brothers? What's wrong with you people?
Don Everly hasn't had any sad ending. He's alive and well.
Sadly he just died. May he Rest in Peace.
Thank you for this REVIEW Sir! mORE POWER TO YOU Sir! From Philippines. God bless
Love all there 🎵 there was great
Don was my favourite xx
Was für Bilder, wen zeigen die
A lot of these pictures are not Don and Phil
Why they are showing other people is beyond me. There must be many, many library pictures of Don and Phil.
Half of these photographs are not of the Everly Brothers.
maybe you should label your slides because seems like some of them show someone elee. Otherwise, good job
Why do they say "the sad ending?" I've never understood that statement.
It is sad, Phillip died😰2021
@@joanielorentz4979 And it's sad that Phil and Don never made up and on May 7th, 2021 Don sued and won a court case claiming he was sole owner of the rights to "Cathy's Clown" even though it's common knowledge they wrote the song together.
@@tmnl8037 The point still goes back to the fact that for years Don went on record to say Phil was a co-writer of the song and he insisted years after that fact that he get full credit while Phil was still alive. It was petty on his part regardless in the long run no matter who would be benefitting from it in the future. I really don't think that played into it as much as Don insisting on that full writing credit when by all prior accounts he didn't deserve. Just my opinion.
@@tmnl8037 Whatever. If Don don't have enough money by now......
@@tmnl8037 I read this link. Phil's heirs only wanted to preserve his status as co-writer. They did not seem to be challenging any rights to royalties, which Phil had agreed to. It was Don's automatic reaction that they were after his precious royalties. This is my last word on this subject.
are any endings happy?
It's utterly annoying that they keep showing pictures of a cover group. Just stop that!
Agree!! What’s up with that?
I can barely hear this video.
What a poorly put together set of supporting photos. Who are the makers of this video? They haven't got a clue. Are the people who said "thank you" aware of the Everlys at all?
Why did you put photos of Everly bros.tribute duos? It's absurd. There are thousand of Beverly Bros pictures. And the volume... you can hardly hear it.
Although Phil did pass away
But their mother Margaret isstill alive.
She will soon be 102 yrs old!
You don't know what you're all talking about the everly Brothers mister they still live in Central City Kentucky Dawn still living thank you very much on the car business
Phil Every died of lung cancer several years ago. Don is still living.
Phil died of COPD in California in 2014 and Don died on August 21 this year thank you very much! And it's Don, not Dawn!
Dreadful. Goodbye HDN News.
Just watched a documentary about Queen Elizabeth 11 and she said that the Everly Brothers were terrible??? Can you believe that anyone wouldn’t love ❤️ them. No taste I expect 🤮
That's hard to believe she would say that.
@@mrsx7944 I'm sure she didn't; she's quite probably never heard them.
@@wendylewis4508 I read back in the 60's that they met her, probably after a comman performance!
