- I've not been doing many "proper" sketches recently, but I've been carrying this tiny sketch book around with me to do simple little sketches when I have time to fill.

Second: Do not apologize for the limited palette of colors - you made such great illustrations! Look at the shades and perspectives!

Thank you! It’s so handy having one pen with multiple colours, isn’t it! I remember when I was at school I had a big chunky pen with 10 colours but I’ve restrained myself as I’ve got older hahaha

I love your tiny sketchbook of doodles!! So perfect for exactly the situations you described. I also think that the colour limitations actually add to the vibe of the book. I have seen those pens with 4 colours of ink, but not 3 ink + 1 pencil lead. I like the pencil option! The comment on drawing storage room doors made me laugh, I can’t say I have drawn them before 😂.
As for crafts/hobbies, I am exactly the same. I get totally consumed by a certain hobby and ignore all the others for months on end, but I eventually cycle back through again. There are some things I haven’t done in *years* that I used to spend hours and hours on! I enjoy seeing your other hobbies!
I got the pen/pencil from Amazon. One with 4 colours would be handy because that would include green, but I really like having the pencil!

Definitely! It takes so much pressure off because you can't really do much more than a "doodle". It's also good if you're nervous about people watching you.... They have to have really good eyesight to see what you're doing hahaha

I love having the variety so I can match a hobby to whatever mood I'm in, but sometimes I do wish I wasn't quite so flighty hahahaha

You are an artist! You have a very cute style. ❤ I love to make sketchbooks. Yours are more cute. Im still new to it. I wear a fanny pack as a purse. I am able to fit a sketchbook and pens. In the UK I think you might have a wider variety of bic pens with color. I carry 3 with multiple colors. Honestly its too many though. Random info i wear the fanny pack as a crossbody bag, over my shoulder, and across my waist.

Thank you so much!! Most of the Bic pens I see have black, blue, red and green. I got mine from Amazon with the pencil instead of green. I love having the pencil but sometimes miss having green (usually when I’m doing blue trees haha). In the uk we call that kind of bag a “bum bag”. Neither name really describes it well, I wonder why they didn’t call it a waist bag haha (oh, maybe because that sounds like it’s full of waste haha)

Thank you! I started learning to play the bass years ago, but I gave up because I wasn’t disciplined with practicing and the lessons were too expensive. It’s not actually been played for over 10 years but I still love to look at it, so I’ve basically kept it as a giant ornament haha.
It is a very pretty ornament! I played viola back in the dark ages during junior high/high school, and, um, it's just stashed in the back of my sewing room closet doing no good for anyone 😆

@@madebylora yep! I haven't finished watching the whole video yet, I need to get some housework done. But I too carry emergency art supplies. I always have a crochet project in my truck, and a pad and pencil in my purse. Love those handmade books 💜
