The neck on that first tele was amazing
The black over sunburst tele is my winner this time. Almost makes me want to order a tele instead of a strat when i come down at the end of September for an appointment
As much as I'm a strat player there's just something about a black Tele custom.

Ooh, too many to love! Up to now I’ve pooh poohed two colour Fenders but that black over sunburst double bound Tele was lovely. On the other hand the Aztec gold one…..

I love these video's.
Those bound ones are Custom Tele's. Telecaster Custom's are the ones with a neck Humbucker. Telecaster Deluxe's are two Humbuckers, large headstock.
I’m getting heavy relic’d out. I like the nitro, NOS and add your own wear. At least a few not to the extreme. Educational on the colors. Thanks.

The second guitar’s color is what Gibson/Epiphone would call Faded Pelham Blue. Beautiful

I very rarely find anything I want.... I want a custom tele, but ash/maple with a 60s oval neck, broadcaster PUs, and some graining in the body and preferably in the neck as well.... If I actually find one with the right neck profile, it doesnt have the body/neck graining.....
That '59 sonic blue strat would be ideal but for the roasted headstock/neck. 🥴

What's the reason some of the serial numbers on the Fender Relics are either "R" or CZ ? Why do they vary?
I prefer custom color rosewood Strats personally. Jack, go watch The Goonies now! Essential 80's viewing.
Super faded sonic blue reminds me of my super faded shell pink Can't really tell it's pink....almost white Checking is an after thought in these 4K guitars unfortunately

No longer doing a "Full Unboxing." Too much time...open the same carton box etc... I just can stand the stupid aging..heavy relic...plus the outrageous prices! I can't see myself going to my local Hollywood Chevrolet dealership and say..."I want my 2022 Corvette to have rust, patina paint with dings on the body." Shiny and glossy all the way! That's my preference but I understand the Guitar companies pushing a new product and selling it to the public. Sales=$$$$.
