18:20 I generally don't like sunburst, especially on Strats, but when this came outta the case...it blew me away! It's the guitar of the haul, for me.
Just.. stupendous! Where to start?! They just hit it out of the park..from the forearm contour wear...to the 3 warm tones of the burst..to the xtensive relicing...the humbucker and the tortoiseshell just go great.
Add to that the contoured heel joint...and I want it!
weird how tastes vary. I absolutely love sunbursts, especially on Strats, but I can't stand humbuckers in them... :) - other than that, you're right, that is one v. nice axe
You've got to question just how special a "Custom Shop" guitar is when they're made in such quantity.
I like the CS thing , but could live without the "amateur" refin over the original finish relic models...I see a lot of them secondhand for sale..to each his own..
Love that you give us lefty’s some great guitars to choose from. Did not see any from the last shipment on your website. Did they sell that fast?
Lefty's get no fucking love glad to see we finally get something. I want a NOS fiesta red, rosewood with a big 70s headstock on it with custom 69' pick ups that's my dream guitar.
Peach guitars seems to understand that there is a marked for lefty guitars. They have great customer service. I live in Norway and I’m tired of just a squire in the corner, and they never sell it because there is to many of those cheap guitars. But high end guitars is another story. So i have saving up money to next time i go to the UK, i hope they got a great collection. I am not buying just to buy. I have to feel something special with the guitar. And if they have many, there is a bigger chance to find one.

I started out playing righty but switched to lefty. Glad I did - I play better left-handed.

I am about to pull the trigger on a Charvel..done heaps of research... and this new one comes in entirely unexpectedly at the tail end of a Fender vid!
I gotta say.... as impressive with features as that one looked - binding, flame top, mahogany body, aswell as the already awesome heel joint etc - I much prefer the previous line.
Ooooh dear, I don't know whether to snap an old one up for a couple hundred off while I still can....or hold out for the new line to be announced ...after Xmas I'm guessing...by the looks.

One thing I've always wondered (the first guitar out of the box reminded me). When you say blackguard pickups, shouldn't that be pronounced more like "blaggard" (as in rogue/vagabond/baddun)? Always been curious about that...
That sonic blue Strat at 32:56 - is it normal for a Strat with a mint pickguard to have a white trem cover? Pretty sure my strat had a mint cover on the trem to match the pickguard (I took the cover off though and it's now in the loft in the case so can't check)

The '52 blackguard Tele relic is amazing but the U necks are just too much for me.

what's going on there just below the trem on the "black strat"? It looks like it's got three big chunks taken out of the wood below the finish.
Hey Cathal, it's relic'd to mirror the Gilmour Black Strat, this was where David had a Kahler trem fitted for a period.

Not a single Masterbuilt guitar! And I was hoping to get something from Dale or Vincent before Britain leaves the EU and I have to pay a lot of import taxes again.
Fair play for getting in lefties but the colors are not good enough... Brown generic... Only offering with fiesta Red.. Seriously
If that ocean turquoise HSS strat or any of the color over colors was a lefty, they’d be gone and I’d be broke. I agree it would be nice to see some lefties beyond black, sunburst, sonic blue and fiesta red. Too conservative. Lefties like hot rodded Fender’s too!
Yeah i do agree. We want the LPBs and sonic blues, and a Red which isn't bloody Fiesta!! Seen far too many sunbursts.

@@kaitodesire I thought ancho poblano was a custom guitar maker from Mexico or something, I googled it to see what the guy was all about haha. Looks cool, would like to try out something like that in the future. Is the ancho poblano referring to the pickups or the strat model as a whole?

The prices of them things!!! Beyond a joke for what u actually get for the money, can build one yourself for under £500
If you are able to build guitars for £500 that are of the same quality as Fender Custom Shop instruments, then you will likely become a millionaire by next year.

@@teddyboy9116 There's not much to explain. If there are enough people willing to pay a lot for high quality goods, then there will be manufacturers who will produce exactly such goods. That's free market economy.

@@johnbbrian791 that's sadly true, nice guitars but not worth anywhere near 6k , u could build one from genuine fender parts for a 10th of the price and have the same guitar minus the silly little leather booklet u get with it and a few hang tags worth tuppence
