- Yet another Fender Custom Shop delivery? In one month? Are you kidding??
No, we’re not! Here we go with round 2, this time focusing on some incredible pieces from Fender’s Custom Shop that will be bound to please those with a preference for more ‘vintage correct’ specs, understated yet classy finishes and the kind of bare bones simplicity, humility and player-friendly comfort that made the brand such a raging success back in the day.
This time, John & Jack walk through the entire delivery of 15+ guitars, as well as give Peach employee Dene a bit of a ribbing for his new purchase… watch on to see the full haul!

Yep, Deans strat is cool... looks very unique with that charcoal undercoat. For me personally the sherwood green tele was my pick

"Red Teles with maple necks" - Amen, brutha. I'm partial to Hot Rod Red or Fiesta Red, but basically my ideal combo on Teles and Strats.

Consider getting some in like the guitars sold at wild west guitars USA. Have a look at them. Model is: Fender Custom Shop WWG White Lightning 2.0 Maple Neck. They won't ship here to UK for my husband!

Those were some great guitars. I even liked the super heavy relic white one. I could easily see somebody digging that thing. I'm on a Tele kick but some of those strats were great. Especially the blue ones.
As always, Dene--wonderful spec'd guitars!!!! I envy the righty players and all those choices. Bravo!

The journey man guitar finish is a little bit too perfect, but its a great guitar Show.
I've got a few strats one is a custom shop I love it but I really want a fiesta red strat im a lefty and theyre hard to find other then well getting another custom shop lol.

You couldn’t see this, but Dene’s guitar got a stankface from my end. Camp relic here. What an epic looking strat that is! Quickly hide it from Philip Sayce. 😎 I’d love to hear if Jacks assumptions about the resonance turn out to be true or not …
Get yer haircut!!! That tangerine telecaster for me! Though they all look pretty good! I have a c/s esquire and abby strat but the relicing on these looks more authentic!

Cool reliccing. I want to pay extra for my next car when they damage the paint. I want scratches, dents and a cracked windscreen. Maybe even a touch of bird poo carefully and artisticly spread over the roof?

I'm not a fan of "relic_ing" guitars per se'. I like the look of an aged guitar, and the history represented in its battle scars, but understand there's a finite number of old beauties, and must admit these guitars have some serious "wow" factor!

Fender custom shop are churning out so many guitars now that the "custom " element is being lost.More like mass produced shop.

These guitars all fit that definition. What you mean is boutique or small builder. Fender never claims that. So look elsewhere.
@Abe Lincon I believe DD wasn't commenting on the quality of the guitar, just that perhaps these don't necessarily constitute a custom guitar in the traditional use of the word custom. Inspite of Lewis Conger poor defence, these clearly haven't been ordered by and for a specific person, I don't believe a retailer saying, "We'll take all you've got" counts. Custom is clearly a word that guitar manufacturers like to use, poor old Tom Murphy can't get more than two hours sleep a night , with all the custom guitars he has been churning out the last year.
