Straturday is my favorite day of the week. I always love it when Brandon does the spec check. And Lemmo absolutely killed it of course.

Norm has quite the Hat Trick of Talent with these three youngsters. Great selection of music, eye opening facts about the guitar and builder and presented in a way that was present to watch. Gotta love Jen’s 😆 Laugh! She needs to get out in front of the camera on occasion. Love to see her giggle in person.

Great Fender Strat, all the sounds. In Michael’s hands everything sounds good, of course. But a great Strat through a Black Face Deluxe Reverb is a match made in guitar heaven. Guitar and amp together probably 8-10 K. Man, that guy can play! One of the best Strat tones I’ve heard on GOTD.

Great guitar....they really have great tone, but it always amazes me that someone would pay so much for a guitar made to look like something from the 70's.......me....i'd like it to look brand new. :

'Relic'd' guitars make me laugh. Like taking a chain and sandpaper to your new 'Vette so it looks cool. Genuine honest wear is always the coolest! The wear is earned, not phony.
The wear is earned 🤡 who the hell has time to go out n tour and just beat up a guitar if someone wants to buy a relic’d guitar let them looks awesome as hell and much cheaper than an original
The car analogy only works if you custom order a car that looks excactly like a 60s corvette and then spec it to look like it has been on the road since the 60s, wich doesn't sound as bad as buying a brand new car and denting it on purpose.
It is done all the time in the car world too. People restore old cars but keep the patina or add a little patina to get the the right look.

The relic market puzzles me… I understand artists using replicas of their famous instruments to keep their vintage originals from harm but the average bedroom guitar player, why? It looks cool, that seems to be the consensus. Wouldn’t just playing the guitar and it getting natural wear be cooler? That being said, another phenomenal demo from Lemmo!
do they make a flush 5 way selector switch for th pick up selector switch I like the neck pick up but the switch gets in my way so I have not held onto any of the fenders that I have had due to that.

id be so embarrassed every time someone comes up to me at a gig and asks what year that old strat is and id have to say "2021 and i payed alot of money for someone to fck it up, and i bought my way to posing like ive been playing for a long time or have earned a guitar with road character"
