      THX U a mate had lower links for th back they had 3holes in them he dont ride any more so he gave them to me for nothing!! i had them on for 2years!!!! NOW!! i find u on youtube ((no 1 has touch th front end as yet fork are out 5mm as they was!!! sum mates watch yr video lower FRONT!!!! but they say u keep sayin lower th front is for only drag racein so they not sure they can help me for front end (th strap u use can it help me more!!? use them every time i ride on street? have u lower front for any 1 has suzuki 750 iam only 1600mm high i been tryin find seat are very low had no good so far!! h a good

      I just finished my Gen 1 timing chain swap out and reshimming the valves.I watcjed all 4 of your videos and followed all your steps to a (T)After 2days and the press of the starter button she's purring like a Tigar and no more intermittent miss.Thanks for the videos

      My girl has 70 thousand miles, mostly on the autobahn average speed 130. Now, when I back of the gas, she backfires .

      If you have an aftermarket exhaust, the muffler might need to be repacked.

    I served in the Army for six years as a Black Hawk repairer/crew chief. Joined right out of high school.
    During phase inspections, we ripped those birds completely apart, including the removal of the engines, so we could check every single component and all the airframe nooks and crannies.
    What was serviceable, we reconditioned. What was disposable, we simply replaced. As complicated as that helicopter was, nothing I ever did was as intimidating as what happens in these videos.
    Even with those stressful years of aircraft maintenance under my belt, I still feel like a boss when Brock explains stuff in such a clear way, I totally understand it. 😄

      Be safe and enjoy the journey, brother. It's a fun (but stressful) job and never dull. I went to Fort Benning, GA for BCT straight out of high school. Then to Fort Eustis, VA for AIT. First duty station was in Camp Stanley, South Korea. Only wrenched. We were an AVIM unit. Spent September 11 there. Scary times.
      A year later I was supposed to go to Fort Campbell, KY, but a CSM heard me talking in the chow hall about my mom being sick, so he pulled strings with the aviation branch manager and he got my orders changed to Fort Belvoir, VA. That was a miracle. I spent the rest of my contract there. Another miracle.
      That was a flight unit, so we wrenched and also were crewchiefs. Having the additional flight pay was nice. So many good memories. I still miss it, even if back then I hated it and spent the entire six years angry and homesick. Anyway, the Black Hawk is such a beast, and very easy and comfy to work on. I had a couple female co-workers and their smaller hands came in very handy when wrenching in tight spots, ha-ha.
      I served from 2000-2006. MOS was 67T first, but then changed to 15T. Had a few close encounters with death. Looking back, God spared my life. I wish I served Him back then, because I made so many mistakes in those six years.
      I wish you the best. Always look spiffy, respect rank, pay attention to detail, have situational awareness, obey the SOPs and rules, and never become complacent. That'll keep you out of trouble!

    This helped, and I have the same issues to investigate and correct. I've seen the Brock name for years - these video(s) legitimize your brand. They're proof that you're the real deal and that you stand behind all your parts - the claims, the engineering, and so on. I'm a DIY mechanic, so what I save in labor, I put back into parts and tools. Having a mostly stock bike but slightly lowered in the front, the adjustable kickstand is on the list. The billet pins, thumbs up. Whatever else comes along the way, Brocks just got put on the shortlist. The Suzuki Bond, gasoline treatment, gasket recommendations, torque specs, and the tips and techniques of a master, no matter how beginner they are- all of it is priceless. Thank you! I'm sure your dogs appear in other videos, but give them prime time. Pet ownership has interesting benefits that many don't realize, but they subconsciously identify with other owners who share the experience. This increases your audience's attention span and your CZcams subscribership, which circles back to the Brock brand. OK, going back to the garage.

      Thank you for the kind words. We have two Shepard's, both are perfonal protection dogs. My wife's big male is level 3 trained. Off leash verbal and non verbal commands will keep just about anyone from acting foolish around her. Any other time, both dogs are amazing pets and love to be around our grandchildren. I'll keep your recommendations for giving them both some additional air time in the future.

Unfortunately, the mechanical nature of this problem makes it VERY difficult to diagnose, so we occasionally throw a bunch of time and manpower out there to help out fellow two-wheel enthusiasts. I call it "mechanical philanthropy", lol. 🤑

    Mate, You are a wiz! I am in Australia and have an OEM 2003 Gen 1 which has EXACTY the same issue at EXACTLY the same RPM with 41000 km (25500 mls). You might as well have been working on my bike🤣. I have persevered through the full 5 parts (skipping the stand issue😉) and am convinced I can replace the cam chain to rectify it. I have had a 'tune up' and check by a bike shop and have been told all my valve clearances are well within spec and that the top end is very clean, indicating no misuse, but he did mention that the chain was noisy and put it down to a lack of previous owner use (suggested it may improve with more frequent use😒). Although not formally qualified, I have done major rebuilds on cars and engines previously, so utilizing these videos, I am confident to proceed with replacing the chain to rectify the issue. It was also great to get an experienced professional undertake such a detailed video so I can have confidence in the material, rather than a home mechanic giving it a go. The videos were easy to watch and follow, you should pat yourself on the back. Well done and many thanks. Now to go out a buy a degree wheel and order some of your billet pins at the starter😆.     When you have tightened thousands of random bolts over years you have a pretty good idea of how tight bolts should be and witch ones need the torque wrench on them.

    i enjoyed this series of video’s, in my 30+ years of riding sportbikes i blame the manual CCT for this bikes problems, im sure you have to brock seen these busa’s with 100K miles on the stock motor with 0 issues.

    Got an 06 750 in my shop now. Replaced the stator and whoever did it last time left they wave washer out. Bike is completely done, but waiting another week for that washer before I let him come and pick it up. For a $1750 job, I'm sure he won't mind waiting another week for it to be done correctly. Lol

    The issue we've ran into when retarding the intake cam too far out past 110 degrees, it'll do the same thing this one was doing. Some bikes have to have a switch added to them to disconnect the cam sensor to eliminate the issue.
    It only needs the cam sensor to start the bike, not run it. I imagine it does the same thing if you advance it too far.

    You want to hear something funny?... I painted my car back in 2003. I had some paint left to paint my bike the same color, so i could be a "Hot boy". I got all the base coat on my motorcycle, but i ran out of clear coat... Here we are in 2022 and i STILL haven't properly painted my bike! Geeze, i need to get my life together😆

    You said put that washer back cos engineers know more than us, but your happy to ignore thier recommended torque setting. That makes sense

    You need to cable tie the chain to the sprocket… there’s a hole in each sprocket, so once you have the timing marks correct, cable tie the chain, then install the cam caps…

    While doing a cam chain veiuld putting in a intake cam on the exhaust be worth it if you could find a cam cheap enough and the timing gear for it. Well at a cheap enough price.

    ¡Saludos from Puerto Rico! Excellent Job professional level. I own a Suzuki boulevard 2014 9k miles and when it's warm up start having a hesitation only at first quarter of throttle above that runs well. It doesn't have any code not even in the ECM , the bike have stock muffler and air filter. I don't know where to start. I really appreciate any tips or advice.

    I work on a lot of different things but I’m no pro bike builder but I see that you listed the coil packs to in order. Why is that.? As long as the wire is going to the right cylinder which you should it was listed it shouldn’t matter on a coil pack it’s just a coil pack the computer is gonna tell it when to fire what cylinder so as long as the wire is on the right cylinder any coil pack can go anywhere. Just curious why you labeled coils or is it your general preference

      You are correct, the coils can go anywhere. I label them for consistency. This is important when trouble shooting individual cylinder issues, it also helps to prevent "magic" issues like problems correcting themselves and/ or "moving".

      A dead battery doesn't have enough cranking amperage to allow the starter to work without "kicking back"... This kickback is what breaks the cover, not the fact that the battery itself is low. .

    How's it going Brock. So, I mentioned I just bought about 2 weeks ago a 2006 Busa and my problem is that I filled my tank and I barely rode it 44 miles, to and from work and now I have a half tank. Do you happen to know as to what it's causing that? Supposedly I can get anywhere from 150-225 miles on a full tank? It did have a Power Commander and I took that thing off I don't need it, I ride twisties and do long distance riding. It' also has a 4*1 Hindle Exhaust System that I don't like at all.

      Fuel mileage is directly related to how you ride the bike. If you ride the bike aggressively, your fuel mileage will plummet. If you are going the speed limit and not grabbing big handfuls of throttle, you could have an issue. Putting the bike on a dyno and reading the air fuel ratio can give you a direction. We find that a dirty fuel system can also be a culprit. This stuff works wonders sometimes: brocksperformance.com/wynns-power-charge-fuel-system-treatment/

    I have an 03 Busa. I've found a good deal on a 99 Busa . Are the engine's interchangeable?

      Mechanically and physically, yes. The issue is with the ecu's being different. As long as you use the stator and ignition system from the 99, the 03 will work.

      I can't answer that question as we have not tuned one or viewed the ignition advance curve. As a general rule, modern sport bikes do not need any ignition advance. That said, some OEM's, including Honda, have been known to reduce timing in the higher revs for noise abatement. If your bike has this, adjusting the timing can lead to sizeable gains....if not, and you advance it too much, you could harm the engine.

      in full throtle on map is 21 degree at 9 k RPM

    I don't know if you see this comment after this whole time passed but I have lost hope I have the exact same problem with my 03 hayabusa it won't go past 8000 rpm and cause I don't know very good English what was the problem that wont let the bike go past 8000rpm?the kickstand switch or the cam chain? Please if you see this get back to me cause I have lost hope!!

    hi brock/all WHEN U WORK ON GSXR 1000 lower the front/back th round steel bar u put under th bike was that high for road?or track? h a good 1 all

      Most of our links are designed to lower the bike. This is ok for the street, as long as you don't go too low.

      iam 600mm/60kg I dnt have any1 on th bike only more!!!! be cause (((((!2up!!!)))))th tyre is hitin under th seat!!! she was 61kg now she got her own bike

      Sounds like you need to stiffen your suspension - or perhaps you have a problem with your shock/suspension? If your bike has passenger pegs, it was designed to carry a passenger without rubbing. You are both light weight, so something else is causing your problem.

      Brock whats the best full system pipe u have for the Gen 1 i have a muzzy i want try something different for dragracing an does that sprint air filter work good in theGen 1. Like the do in the newer. Bike

      Our serious drag race pipe is the TiWinder. And yes, the Sprint Filter PO8 F1-85 makes as much power in the Gen 1's as our air box lid (no filter at all) but filters great.
