My real gold makes a low tone and hits the left side of the field. You might want to get that coin checked. Great video though!❤🎉🎉❤
Very good video thanks! I got a Bounty Hunter Lonestar (very similar) awhile back but really haven't been out using it yet. So far its biggest find is mower blade retaining nut for the neighbor which took all of 2 minutes to find. Looks like a really fun hobby/activity but I just haven't put in the time...yet :-)
It is an ok unit for the new digger or kid, i have the one, it was my first detector. They do not work very well near salt water, it has no way to ground ballance . Its ok for shallow targets but nothing deep. Nice video.

Yeah i have a Quick draw 2, it came with a cheaper pin pointer which i lost so i picked up the garret pro pointer and i love it. I wouldn't go detecting without it, cuts digging time in half at least. The quick draw is pretty good for a beginner, but im looking at the Whites mxt pro. The bounty hunter just doesnt have the depth and features of professional machines but for the money u cant beat it.
Thanks for the tip! The pointer that comes with the BHQDII must touch the object to even make a sound; at least that has been my experience. I'm going to get the Garret Pro pointer now as well. Thanks for sharing the information and good ideas!

Why does the gold show up as silver on the detector?
Subbed and liked. You're the only guy I've seen throw some gold and silver under there to show its reaction. Can you say if the Teknetics GAMMA is better?

I also have one similar from Radio Shack and gold on mine falls under nickle and foil. I found silver coins, lots of copper brass and early 1900 sterling cigarette case. Love it

I have bought this same model about 2 months ago. It's my first detector and so far I really enjoy it. I live close to the coast so I am really excited about this summer. I wish there were more people in my area who enjoys this hobby. Great video tutorial as well. I was wondering on the pin pointer. Would buying that Garret($130) pin pointer be a bad move? Bought one and it arrived without a pin pointer, returned to Walmart got a Garret much better model

Either your gold is FAKE or the detector is a pile of junk!
Every time you swiped pass the coil with the gold coin, NOT ONCE did it go over to the gold side/settings. It always stayed on the silver side.
GO CHECK YOUR GOLD COIN OUT...I think you got RIPPED OFF!!! lol
