Super Impressed with the carbon decal in and on the diffuser , great patience!
Great video..... I have a Beneton Ford F1 model that I got along with 1931 Cadillac Cabriolet that is really old. I had a friend give them to me at least 25 (or more) years ago and never really got started on them...... I am a woodworker and I had to choose a hobby years ago because I wanted to do 15 things and I never completed anything. So I chose woodworking because I was a remodeling contractor and I really needed to focus on that so now I have a a small but well equipped shop and I build all sorts of things but now that I am retired due to back issues I would really like to get back into model building. I only have probably 20 total kits under my belt but that was when all we had was that orange tube of Testores glue that took a damn day to dry and after about 6 month parts would fall off... LOL.... My biggest hang up is painting. If I painted a model it looked horrible... There wasn't the internet... I talking mid 80's during my high school years. I had a pretty bad ass Firebird that took up all my time and money.... I worked 3 jobs for about 3 years... all of them at minimum wage or like $3.75 or if you were make like $5.00 you were the man. So I dumped every nickel I could get my hands on into that damn money pit.... we got the cage put in and put new quarters on the back and I drove it for a summer that way... yellow door...I bought a used chevy 400 small block from an old drag race guy I knew and I whooped some bad ass beautiful cars. I used to piss dudes off... I would be at a light with that car chugging along Whump, Whump,Whump. It would barely idle with the big ass cam it had in it. I had aftermarket suspension and when I brought it up to about 3500-4000rpm and side stepped the clutch it would squat down and come off the line and you had to be careful because it would pin you in the seat and it would "walk" around and come around on you if you weren't careful. I mean that big old Holley double pumper would just be howling and when I grabbed second it would always do this shimmy thing and either bark the rear tires or just blow them off. I scared myself in it a couple of times, it was crazy... \
good times good times.
Sorry about the long winded comment. I hadn't thought about that car in about 25 years and I just got to typing.
Peace
Seeing how complex the scale model is, it makes you appreciate the complexity of the real deal. That car is a technological marvel!
Great job with the decals but when I build it, I'll just leave it bare because that design is amazing.
Two years later...I did build this version and it got into the Fine Scale Modeler Contest Cars 2021 magazine. I had one of these kits under my belt, so this version was easier and more fun to do. The Contest Cars was the icing.
Another great build! I saw this model and the Toyota Supra in the shop yesterday and in real life they are even more impressing than on CZcams.....
This is your Best build of all time !!!!!!!!!!!!!! Absolutely awesome Build !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
what. the. heck. ... you cut all that carbon fiber and meticulously laid it
*hand claps* - subbed for a couple of years now - KEEP IT UP!!!
Fantastic job! I think you should try making a Tamiya Formula one car - maybe the Tyrrell 6 wheeler? 👍
1/20th scale of course.
@@lukasgarage956 indeed! It was the first Tamiya kit I made - I learnt a lot! 😂
I wish someone would make a modern F1 kit, been looking.
@@TheBlueberry606 I think it might be licensing which puts companies off now.
Tameo have some quite modern cars though and Ebbro made the 2015 McLaren.
Le degré de passion de cette personne.
The producer is highly skilled, I admire it.👍👍👍
You're a PRO at this!!!! Good job! 👍👌😀
Beautifully Finished Kit, thanks for Sharing n God Bless All.
Awesome build man, this build inspired a build I did recently on the C7.R with the super detail set from Scalemotorsport. Loving the content
Wow! That's a real beau-tie of a car! Stunning work
Lo felicito por la realizacion de sus videos el resultado final quedo excelente, mis respetos y saludos desde Venezuela.
Spectacular. I’ve simply run out of praise worthy adjectives when describing your work. The application of the carbon fiber decals looked super easy. Note to self - if ever dumb enough to try & replicate (especially on the rear diffuser fins), lock up all handguns & give the key a toss...
dang, I wish I could paint like you. I'm the perfect example of having all the gear but not even close to your skill to what and how. I love your videos. thanks for sharing. I need to practice more. :)
Nice vid I love how he includes qtips in the description that’s hilarious

Great work as always. You should do more race cars.
Lotta job with bottom of this car
Amazing model and good job 👌🔥
Wow what detail!
an awesome build....as always!
Super sweet!
very nice build i enjoy your work
Amazing 👍
Awesome!!!!!!!!!! All GT40's are my favorite, 51 Merc is second
Cool!
excellent video, I really like how you assemble the miniatures, I would like to ask you a question ... I would love to see you assemble a truck, would it be possible ??? greetings from Spain!!!
Muy bonito ¿donde se consiguen las calcamunias?
Where do you keep all the models you make ?
Nice build. Did you use only the aftermarket decals? I saw another build of the Le Mans car in the red, white and blue livery and the builder complained about the "No Step" decals disappearing on the black paint. I'm not going to do this build until the next time and I wondered how my kit decals would work.
Great work. Beautiful car. Too many commercials!
Wow 🤩
I’m building this model now and have gone for a custom gulf livery version inspired by the vintage GT40. What technique did you use to mask and paint the headlight cans and rear dual exhaust cover? These each have very tricky inset surfaces with compound curvatures. Your advice here would be super helpful. Thanks in advance!
I honestly don’t remember.
Maybe a big piece of tape. And then cut around the edges. Or many smaller pieces
2 questions. 1 Do you wet sand after your paint jobs. Do you clear coat before putting on Decals?
1, No
2, No
I really like the video
Great Work. What do you use to record your Videos? If I may ask..
Iphone and gopro
Awesome job! Question? Is the scale motorsport kit worth it? It doesn't seem to offer much over the standard kit. Wheels are not metal like in past years. It doesn't have an etched harnes, not a fell carbon decal. Just curious as I have the revell ket and was considering the scale motorsports add on
Personally I think the cost of that detail kit is ridiculous for what it is and what your getting but that's just my opinion.
If you check the individual videos he did for each part, he says the only reason he used the belt decal was that he didn't have any seat belt fabric to use. That might be worth considering. He did show the etched harness parts that the set had.
Very nice work indeed, amazing ain’t finish and eye catching livery. Wonder why not putting ‘proper’ seat belts?
What do you use to clean your airbrush after that 2k clear?
Lacquer thinner
Build a MCL35 maybe ?
Hello, congratulations, your models are amazing, I am coming back to scale modeling after 30 years, I started with a Mazda MX-5 RF, I painted with the original paint Axalta, I have seen that you use a black dust to detail the carpets of the cars, I have look for it, but I can not find it, can you please recommend me a brand for this product? I’d like to hear your opinion of my model, in other comment I will send you the link.
I use scaleproduction and or USCP flocking
太漂亮!!!
Çok güzel
Hi, I just subscribed
I am thinking about renewing my interest in car models but I,am seeing kits with only apart of the engines and no access to show detail as in mid engined cars , they are all mostly one piece shells .What gives when you can't show the effort put into building it .I would gladly pay more for a kit for a higher level of realism.
What if Strad man bought a ford GT instead for a Bugatti that would be like this
More nascar cars or race cars please!
What’s next??
awesome job but unless its different on the le mans car, the ford gt isnt a manual. should only have 2 pedals
It is different in race cars
most racecars do have a clutch! Either activation via foot pedal or a paddle behind the wheel
Лучше не чего говорил серогно не понял... лучше музыку поставил!!
