I own a 2013 Shelby and I would absolutely love to make one of these. Can you share the links to where you got the kits??
The bodykit is from Plamoz, however i don’t think these are available anymore. The base modelkit is from revell and can be found online or in stores depending where you live etc, i am not in tune with local availability
@@TheScalemodelingChannel thank you for letting me know. You did an absolutely fantastic job. Mine is almost identical to what you created even down to the carbon fiber interior. The only difference I can see is the racing stripes. Mine are black. Thanks for the info!

Excellent work! Sadly, it's hard not to look at those huge flakes in the paint, on scale models it just looks weird. Have you considered other hobby paints? I know it would require mixing to have "proper" automotive colors, but Gaia have a line of amazing super fine metallic paints that would look a lot better on scale models.
Anyone else get the Homer Simpson feeling. Like comparing a model you make to ones made by The Scalemodelling Channel and just go 'Why doesnt mine look like that?'

If i use a 1k clean coat would the results be same ?
it would not be as strong/scratch resistent or glossy, no. If you polish it up. it can look similar

@@TheScalemodelingChannel lol The exterior details are great All I'[m saying is the felt is just going to entice my to go in and rub my finger against it. but you can't do that since the door is closed shut. Just a minor detail thats all :p

Try Gravity’s metallic paint range, they are much closer to scale than Zero paints. You have great skills but end result is spoiled by poor quality metal flake paint
These kind of skills should be illegal, incase they are used for evil!
