Fantastic. I new to DAWs and stuff, and I've been playing with BBC Discover. As soon as Core is on sale, I'm picking it up!
Awesome!
Thank you !
Wow, amazing!! congrats, amazing job.
Thank you !
superb and enjoyable work
Thank you !

Superbe ! Merci… 👍
Merci à vous !
Nicely done 👍🏻
Thank you 😉
Well done
Thank you :)
Nice "Tuning Up" bit at the beginning.
😂
Excellent job!
Thank you !
@@syntheseb Do use a keyboard to do the midi tracks or do you manually enter them on the piano roll?
I always use a keyboard, I play it live so I don’t have to deal with note velocity after, I’m going way faster this way
@@syntheseb so how long do you spend on a project like this?
I don’t recall exactly, but I must have spent around 4 hours to do it
Great job" the only thing that is common in practically all the all libraries, is the fact that the legattos especially in woodwinds have an artificial sound.
yeah I agree, the legato is the most difficult part in sampling, hard to make it sound real !
Amazingly convincing mock up, great job, really loved it! The runs and little arpeggios still sound a bit midi and could use some more tweaking in my opinion. Be well!
Thanks a lot !
Amazing job! Did you transcribed it from score or everything was by ear?
Thank you ! It’s transcribed from score ;)
Very nice!!!! Is there any chance you can do it as a play-along, I would use it to play clarinet? I mean without clarinet part.
Could you please help me to install it? When I open this vst,it is empty!
Amazing!!
A question: how many istance of BBC Core are used?
Thanks
Thank you ! There is 95 instances of BBC Core in this project ;)
Hey this Is awesome. Did you achieve that sound straight from the library or did you used More plugins to enhance the mix?
It’s straight from the library, there is just a little EQ and compressor on the Master Bus that’s all
@@syntheseb woo it really sounds amazing. I asked you because I created a piece for string ensemble. But atm sounds unrealistic . Maybe I have to work the midi to humanice it. But now I see yours I know Is posible to get a epic result. I Also have bbcso core
it’s a lot of midi programming yes to make it sound decent ;)
@@syntheseb thanks , I Will do some research about it 😁👍
@@RinoTirriwith proper CC 1, 11, 17 and 21 automation, velocity and tempo tweaking you can sure crank up your result Rino. Use a beloved string ref track!
Be well, Jeff Hijlkema
Hi there, it's a nice job. My question is: did you use legato fast runs for clarinet? Because it just doesn't sound clear...
Thanks ! It’s a mix between sustain and legato for the clarinet solo (and some tenuto). When I did this mockup over 2 years ago, the BBC’s legato wasn’t quite good on the woodwinds so I had to find some tricks
@@syntheseb and did they fix that issue now?
a little bit… always hard to work on the legato for samples developers !
Was the solo clarinet a legato patch in the runs?
It’s been a long time but as far as I can remember I used the short for the runs because the legato wasn’t fast enough
@@syntheseb thank you very much
First of all, very nice arrangement! BBSO clarinet sounds super synthy, not gonna lie, especially when you compare it with VSL's version of exactly the same piece. I noticed, however, that in some passages you were using longs instead of legato, which might explain why. May I ask, entirely out of curiosity, not meaning to criticise, why you decided to go with longs instead of legato, in some legato parts?
Thanks for your feedback ! I agree the clarinet doesn’t sound as good as some other libraries out there, but for this style of music, no library at all will be good enough. Yes in some passages I used longs rather than legato because back when I did this, the legato had some troubles, the transitions were louder than the note itself so I had to use long articulation. They fixed the problem since, but that was the only way I found to make it sound as good as possible !
BBCSO sounds soo bad...
What sounds better to you then?
This is plain bad. The little salvo at 2:04 sounds pretty good but I feel like that’s just incidental. I’m sure you can do better, although probably not with BBCSO.
what have you achieved?
