  • This mock-up was made entirely using Spitfire Audio's BBCSO Core plugin. The sounds have not been processed aside from minor EQing and the use of iZtope's free Vinyl plugin for added vintage effect.
    Original composition by John Williams (Star Wars: The Empire Strikes Back).

      @trinketstoadsymphony2070  Před 3 lety +1

      Tank you for your comment and advice! The track may feel slow since the tempo was adapted form a live performance by the Danish National Symphony Orchestra (czcams.com/video/geelCnhlEuA/video.html) which is a significantly slower and more patient rendition of the piece compared to the original Star Wars recording. However, I should have probably gone for a faster interpretation since virtual instruments certainly struggle to deliver the same emotional interest that you can get with real players at slower tempo.

      Hey Peter, I used the original sheet music since I did this mockup as a score study (you can find the score here at 13:12 czcams.com/video/_3AiYIxBwD0/video.html) and I used the performance by the Danish national orchestra as a reference for the tempo track (m.czcams.com/video/geelCnhlEuA/video.html) speeding it up in some sections as virtual instruments have a hard time phrasing at a slow tempo. Hope this was useful
