Worked in a bakery few years ago. This is such labor intensive job. Support your local bakery.
Hello brother ru indian ?
Tejas Pharande I’m not.
And yet people say bread is too expensive.
They pay good?
@@deathegg9474 Not particularly! Only if you work in the industry for a few years--a very good pastry chef can make $50K a year but starting chefs make $30K
It's always fascinating to get a look at how the food you eat every day is actually made and how much time and effort it takes.
Ok
Lol i use my 40$ bread machine 😂 i just put the ingredients in it and wait 3 hours and bam a nice bread :) by doing nothing
I like how people feel like they could compete against those who is use to the work.
Jessica Kent and seeing the people that use there time to make you happy! Omg just amazing humans are awesome
Yh it really is
"You see these guys?"
"Yes"
" They are waiting for you "
That was honestly kinda rude
@@roudosim I agree Maybe he doesn't think like us but that was rude
my profesor at culianry school loll
Toxic as fuck
@@roudosim Compared to an average boss at a kitchen he was polite :D
In a few days, I will go to an academy that teaches me how to make bread. I really want to learn.🍞🥐🥖🥨🥯🥞

Hope this makes people understand the fact that baking is an art and one must be disciplined and patient in order to even know what the hell is going on. Shoutout to all bakers and bakeries out there. I love and appreciate you and your craft.
‘Most customers don’t want paper in their ciabatta’😂
Make this a *SERIES!!!*
2020_ Exceptional.HI
My favorite part would be when it come out the oven. The smell aaaaah🤗
Reyna Nava.HELLO
After a few days working in a backery you will not smell it anymore. You will lost the skill to smell fresh bread. 😅
I like watching the ingredients mix together and become the dough also like kneading the dough too.
I always loved my loaf of bread and now I respect the maker of the bread
Tasty we are waiting for "eating your feed" episodes... 👍😃😃😃
“Eating Your Feed” will resume once all the “Worth It” episodes have been shown.
Eating your feed won’t be same without Nikki....😣😔😢
@@Klapaocious77 Ok waiting!! 🙂
@@nana.2511 Without Nikki?
FoodLog she was let go from Buzzfeed in a big firing of employees
The baker had such a great attitude and he was so patient and a great teacher
This makes me feel better about going into new work spaces, I’m always nervous about not knowing what to do, and you were having so much fun and they were receiving you with open arms 😤💕😤💕YEEESSS

AnimeloverBrisa because ur a shy anime loving weirdo
Chef: What is bread?
Bread is texture, love, love and patience.
Everyone Else: Bread is what makes burger buns 😋
Your comment was more interesting😁
Avi Grose Ngl the emoji ruined it
@@blackscreen1268 true
Avi Grose I eat bread by itself
Black Screen just like when someone puts lol after their own joke. Or this 😂
Being a baker is nothing to sneeze at, as she finds out! It’s a full body work out daily! On top of being in a room that is at times as hot as the oven itself!
I’m proud that I spent 4 years of my life as a baker, I would still be a baker if my hands didn’t die!
I have a local bakery near my house. Wait till 4 pm and you'll have the most delicious smell in the air fill the whole block.
My dad said sent this to me one night and told me to call him back to let him know if he looked good in this video. I thought he was lying . love you dad Victor Rivas ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
speak your truth
me: “bread is... bread is love.”
Madison Fair.HI
Hi
Hlo can you mesg
i actually really liked this video, please make it a series!
"bread is love"
couldnt agree more :)
My first word was “bread” 😁
Lalrempuii Fanai my first word was tissue smh 🤦🏻♀️
Having been a back-end cook at a restaurant, I lost my mind with how hard it was to do my job, keeping up, on the first day. Maybe if we could have a series on what it's like to be a back-up cook, working the fresh produce...seeing what it's really like to work in a "good" restaurant...might help humanity to appreciate their food more. Many videos focus on one or two dishes or michelin star cooks that do ridiculously meticulous work on ONE dish with 35 components. Could we have a whole "day in the life" series watching all those processes for some good education?
That's why bread tastes so damn good. It's made with so much love, effort and teamwork. I respect bakers and chefs so much.
Such a joy to watch! Perfect teacher who is patient and perfect student who wants to do their best.
When she started to speak Spanish I just felt happy hahaha went back many times to listen to it again.
Patiently waiting for the 'Can This Professional Baker Survive As A Chef For A Day?' episode
Occasionally I make my own bread and when it's baking in the oven, the scents are Heavenly throughout the casa. Then breaking into it while it's still warm and takes that slap of butter... no words!
Was I the only one that thought it was beautiful when she started talking to the other workers in Spanish?
Bilingual and proud! I almost cried
It was Italian 😊
@@elisemckinney8800 Claudette Zepeda-Wilkins at minute 5:03 starts speaking *SPANISH*. The other workers answer in *SPANISH*.
Tasty I would like to see you make a giant pretzel
Bread is *love*
Bread is *life*
Nelea Nemeari.HELLO
Im a baker at my local bakery and this video is a very good representation of what i do, i do basically all that they are showing, its a very labor intensive job and most bakers work at night
My god. This is so eyes opening. Really. Appreciate the bakers who do all the hardworking. :))
It's almost like her parents *bred* just so that their child could eat bread
Wow, enjoyed this so much. Probably one of my favourite tasty videos!
This same kind of bread saved millions of lives during the Great Depression.
Great video! PLEASE invite him to work a day as a chef!!
A lot of what I saw in this is why watching GBBO is such a lovely experience. They are all working on different things, but something about the process and the experience they all have kinda makes them into a competitive family.
I love bread, and I love baking it, but I don't think I'd last a day in a commercial bakery. But having those bakers come to my house to bake on a smaller scale would be lovely, so they can teach me, and I can let them have some peace in the bakery.
this made me so nervous, it reminded me of my first day at a food industry job. i hated it so much that i never went back lol but she seemed so chill
First day in a restaurant and your feet will know pain. At the end you're tired and wired.
“ bread is love” yes
the owner is the real mvp of this episode, he's brilliant
Wow! This was so interesting. Respect to all bread bakers!
Truly eye opening, thank ypu
Claudette, you were very good out there! Not lagging behind at all and doing your best!
I am a Sous chef at the Michelin/James beard level restaurants and baking is a whole different ballgame. It’s not THAT crazy to me because I already know the kitchen grind, but most bakers I know are starting their shifts at 2-3am and getting out at like 1pm, those hours can be brutal lol
Their chemistry was so great
So much respect to the bakers and tge makers! Nothing is ever easy
This is a real awesome video. Love it
I love this video. Have always been interested in bakery, and this is very interesting
What a funny guy. Very supportive but he also teases her
Omg chef zepeda!!!!! You rock. Just watched you on iron chef and you killed it.
I love this video. Reminds me of the how bread is made video. It really promotes the artisanal side
Video:Can this professional chef survive a day as a baker?

Very interesting video, thanks for sharing!
The boss is an amazing man and leader, so humorous
Awesome video... great insight on such a labor intensive job. I wont look at a loaf of bread from a bakery the same.
This was so RAD!I grew up making Italian bread, pizza dough kneading the dough by hand, hard work but the best memories
Oh, Raz, that SMOOTH Israeli accent, man. Good job Raz 😘
I’m currently working at my grandmother and grandfathers bakery with most of my family, but I am the only baker amongst them. My grandfather and great grandfather were the bakers and my grandmother also learned. I’m a 24 year old female and the only grandchild that is also a baker. My other family members do everything else in our bakery. Working nights till the afternoon, standing the whole time and constantly doing something is not easy, but I’ve always loved baking it’s my blood. My grandfather would be proud of me.
Loves this!
Cooking is an art, baking is a science. Less margin of error with baking.
ran makes some of the best bread in the country. super glassy crunch. chewy. just nails so many attributes to what makes a great bread.
Please do more bread baking videos!
Man, I work at a small bakery that's nowhere near as intense as that! I'm the only one who does bread most days.
Madison Fair.HELLO
Jun Burgin it because your not doing it on a large scale so u don’t have large mixers and large batches to make so it’s easier
amazing videos!
Looks like loads of fun
This is so cool ! I f*cking love bread !!
Anyone working as a baker for a living, can you relate to this video? Maaan, the work is intense. I thought making bread would be more fun :(
Ruis Tacos you do have to be quick. I’ve worked as a baker for two years so far
Baking at this scale is tough work. They still have to clean the place after.
I've been a baker 12 years its hard man
Wow I love handmade bread so good
I am currently having my internship in the bakery and I must say, the first few days is very intense and laborious
Who else watches tasty but never does the recipes 😂😂😂
Who else is tired of seeing this comment?! (raises both hand)
At the beginning, that basket full of bread? I want to eat those. All of those. I want to eat all the bread. Yum.
Growing up in a Mexican family, my grandma and uncles and mom all have bakeries and when I was small I always was interested in learning how to make all the different types of bread, I used to think “oh it’s easy let me try” and when they would I’d be like “crap this doesn’t look right” lol so now I’m studying savory 😂💀 baking is not for me but the people that make it, are amazing to be able to make so much bread and so fast it’s amazing
Didn't knew she speaks spanish, i am from México 🇲🇽
I really would love more make it fansty
Love this vid
Very interesting. And funny. Makes me wanna eat warm bread with butter and appreciate it even more.
This should be a tv show called
Masterbaker. No wait....
I loved this you should make it a sieres
'dont play with the food' lmaaoo
Cooking you can taste as you go but with baking you have to measure everything out perfectly and know the perfect oven temps and times for those items. Baking is more technical
I would LOVE to work on a bakery, baking bread!
I freakin love bread dude
Claudette!! 💪🏼🔥
People don't realise baking bread/buns isn't an easy going job, timing is extremely crucial. I'd hate to work in that place, cleaning up all that flour would be a nightmare cause that gets everywhere.

I did this for four years; I miss that job.
Such a cool video. Bakers deserve so much more appreciation. Always love watching the progress 🙏🏼🙏🏼
bread is love
bread is life
Would love to see you be a cake decorator for a day
I bake my own bread and pizza and sweets at home, and I enjoy it so much
Buzzfeed: ”What is bread?”
Me: umm food??
As my great grandma would say. As long as you have bread in the house(or something close to that) you won't go hunger!
A really good video
0:13 yes. Yes it is
Wow! Wonderful tasty food
I feel alot of people always look at bakery and pastry as the very chill people during service, what they dont see is because the lots of prep and time taken beforehand to do their mise en place
mise en place is the prep
0:40 : " Is that Johny Sins? "
0:42 : " Nayy ''
Lmao
Thank you for a wonderful picture
Now I just want bread
Nice
I try to bake at least 1 loaf every week. Damn it's commitment. I love going to my local bakeries.
