Wow, first time I see a modern structure like this one, thank you for all the details you captured here, this is a pristine video, happy to navigate your channel.
This could be the most beautiful mausoleum I've ever seen, in person or on film. But as others have said, I'm wary of these places. In 20, 30, 40 years, will it be like this or will it be neglected, as so many are?
Hopefully there will be / or is money for up keep
They might be able to keep it up for a while longer. I have family members buried here, and I asked what their prices for interment were like, and it was super expensive now. Hopefully some of that money goes into maintenance
That belongs to the Catholic church so i don't think it will get abandoned
What a lovely masoleum. You could pause a bit or two and show us a niche or a headstone
Remember yesterday‘s new video? That What I’m gonna start doing more
Beautiful thanks for the tour 😊
My pleasure 😊
This is one unique place. I’ve never seen a chapel made like this. And this is the largest place I think I’ve seen.
This mausoleum is remarkable, so beautiful.
What a fabulous job. You captured the colors brilliantly!
Interesting tour! Thanks so much
Umm, you don’t need the mask when you are alone in the car
Oh yes I know, sometimes I have it on for so long I just forget to take it off
Crypt Door I can relate. I’m a nurses aide 🙂
Once the last crypt is sold, what happens next? A slow decline in maintenence until total neglect sets in as the families move on and no longer pay for its upkeep. Just look at the one's all over the country, disgraceful places of disrepect.
Wow sprachlos wunderschön
Beautiful!! Thanks for the tour!!👍💙🇺🇸💙🙏
Thank you for watching
I will never understand why some one chooses a mausoleum they don't last forever natural burial for me back to the earth
Thank you very much for another wonderful tour! This place is beautiful! Great video Tony,
thank you again.
Great video, but I wish we could see more of the glass front cremation niches. They often have interesting mementoes.
Next time!
I think this is the ugliest and unwelcoming place I would ever want to be. Looks like a store with the bright lights ..yea i will pass
I felt the opposite. So much natural light. I wouldn't want to be in one but it's one of the nicest I've seen.
Agreed. Funeral at the Apple Store.
As you mention the security camera's in mausoleums, we do need to be aware when walking around with a camera exploring, you could turn around the corner and walk right into someone or a group. Checking our surroundings when taking pictures or videoing in cemeteries and mausoleums is good. We all get a little curious regarding "what's on the other side of door" Cemetery managers and security have kindly approach me and they just want us to be mindful. Thank You for sharing your thoughts, 11:01 Safe Travels to you.
Right on thank you, I just didn’t know if they saw me aimlessly walking around for a while if they’re going to be suspicious of me or something .. thanks for the info
Also when it comes to other people around me in cemeteries etc. I try to avoid them give them space to visit loved, ones graves and or Grieve
In 75-100 years, it will be a neglected mess.
ashes scattered to the wind Memorial plaques only
I've worked in the funeral business & learned that mausoleums are great monuments for the dead for & the living families to remember them. They're nothing like the great Egyptian pyramids. It will be interesting to see how this building will stand the test of time-100 years or so. Once entombed, families trust there will perpetual care for their loved ones. I would assume the price of a crypt in the Bay area where real estate is pricey would be upwards of 50G's. It's a nice place to visit.
As far as the cameras, all they have to do is watch the film and they would quickly se what you are doing. The second time i watched this video. The beauty has me watching it again. Great video my friend.
So beautiful buddy!!! Wow 👌🏾
I couldn't stand being put in that place near the fountain. To have to spend eternity listening to that!? I'd have to keep getting up to use the bathroom!! 🤣
BTW, at the end, are you on 280? I used to live out there (Cupertino), and it looks familiar.
Here's a question is Ada acceptable Encino elevators
That is one beautiful structure.
Yes it is, I was thinking about doing an update video on the progress of the construction being that it was roughly a year ago I did this video
@@CryptDoor that's a great idea. I'll be looking for it my friend.
That’s some Beautiful slabs of Granite.
There must have been a foul stench in the air , hence the multiple used incense sticks
You never know.
This place is awesome the blue reflection from the sky made it look like they had planned it to be that way. Another awesome journey Crypt
They DID plan it to be that way. They would have had architects and designers and everything.
Please don't say that it's Divine Intervention. 🤦🏻♂️
Might want to do a sound check! Couldn't hear a word you said on the TV of which is where I viewed the video!
How do people not hang out here, bring their dates. read and study??
Wow that is the most beautiful mausoleum I’ve ever seen... like mausoleum/resort/ casino 😂😂 man I’m to poor to even look at that place 😂😂👍👍
Me too 👍
I’m probably gonna do a follow up video soon to see how the construction went this video is from about a year ago
@@CryptDoor looking forward to it, while you’re there get me a price quote on a spot, maybe I could start paying monthly payments now 😂😂
@@jim1842 haha I know
Over the centuries who funds to maintain it.
There lies the reason I don’t want to be placed in a mausoleum. There are perpetual care funds, but they historically have not kept up with inflation. Mausoleums and cemeteries fill up, the profits dry up, the funds eventually dry up, and at that point there is no incentive for any savvy business man/woman to take it on, unless it is done as a service to the community. In many cases, mausoleums end up abandoned, in state of disrepair and decay, with a roof that leaks, and left to the mercy of thrill seekers, vandals, and even grave robbers. When it gets bad enough, the county steps in a condemns the building. Then the bodies have to be disinterred and buried or cremated. It can turn into a big headache for any family members that are still living. If the business is mismanaged, this could all happen sooner rather than later. That could also happen it the owner dies. Hopefully their children don’t just go into their office, clean it out, and haul everything to the dump, along with the burial records. As long as they can keep the roof from leaking, this place could last for centuries, but that won’t be up to us. I would love to visit this place while it is still in its heyday though, it looks awesome. I just don’t want to risk putting my children and grandchildren through a big headache years after they thought my final arrangements were over and done with. This has to be a personal decision for each individual. I can’t tell anyone what to do. Not trying to discourage anyone from being interred in a mausoleum if that is what they have their heart set on. All I can say is do your research before you buy a mausoleum crypt. There are some appalling videos of abandoned mausoleums on CZcams.
I think sometimes, if your a practicing member of a specific denomination, a mausoleum is an okay choice. My grandparents were catholic and are in a cemetery managed by the archdiocese. We know the catholic church isn't going to sell the cemetery and the mausoleum probably won't get to a state of falling down. I could be wrong.
Generally though, this is my problem with them as well. They get neglected, start falling down and it's up to living family or descendents to move your remains. It's not cheap to disinter and re-inter remains either. Green burial or cremation, then nobody has to worry about your grave falling down.
just burried my mom there Dec 2, 2020
Sorry for your loss.
😢😢so sorry!!
Sorry for your loss.
I am sorry for your loss. Your mother has a beautiful place to spend for eternity. May she R.I.P.
Why are you wearing a mask in the car by yourself
Old video it was shot during the height of the pandemic, I got to a point where I forgot I even had a mask on at times.
Oh wow
