- The unboxing or "unbagging" and first thoughts review of what I'm calling the fishermans kayak, the Pelican Catch Mode 110. For the price this easily has to be the best middle ground kayak under $1000. After hours of research and now getting in person I firmly believe this, in my opinion ,that it is the best.

I got 1 put the transom mount with a trolling motor running off dewalt BATTERIES
Damn you're lucky, I would have to register mine as a boat if I did that in Mass. I have to file for special paperwork with pelican too cause Massachusetts is a fun state to live in
@JoeWatElse it still has to be registered but I'm not lugging around a heavy batteries there are limitations though don't run in 3 in reverse no more than 3 in forward

How is the fit of the Pelican cart with this kayak?
I havent really tried the cart yet too much, all of the spots where i have gone have been a very short distance from the parking areas.
I have that cart for my catch mode 110 and it is shit. Recommend going with a wilderness system kayak cart as it is adjustable
@@MichaelMyers1982 ok so it's not just me lol I tried it once and it did not go well, but it was also pitch black after a full day out kayaking so I didn't try too hard

How did you like strapping it on the racks? I wanna buy this kayak and was wondering if I should get saddle mounts for it
@@drkrendletv8898 its not bad to be honest, personally i still might get one, but where the handle is, is perfectly (on my racks) fit to keep to kayak from sliding back and its easy to tow strap it down, just wouldnt take it on the highway
This was an awesome video man. I enjoyed watching it. That is an awesome kayak man. Pelican did a good job on this kayak. I like it because it is not to heavy like others kayak. I don't want a 100Ibs kayak before I put my things on the kayak. The color is nice too. I love Kayaking cuz you can put a kayak in the water anywhere without a boat ramps needs & go place where a boat can't go. P.S. I like your reef fanning flip flops 🩴man. 👍👍 They are awesome flip flops 🩴to wear. I have like 10 pairs of them. I love them because they are the only 1of the flip flops 🩴that are made in big size. I have big very very Extremely wide feet 🦶 sz15 6E wide ( which is very very extremely wide ) with very chubby fat wide toes that are Evenly straight across making my foot very very Extremely wide at 6 1/2 inches wide from my big toe to my lil toe. They are so comfortable to wear around everyday even if it cold outside. My foot outgrow shoes , socks , & boots when I was 18 years old & Flip flops is the only footwear that will barely and I mean barely fit on my foot Because my toes are wider than the flip flops 🩴 straps. I have to wear flip flops 🩴 in 20° , 30° , 40° Degrees weather outside because I cannot find a pair of shoes that are wide enough for my me. I am a huge huge huge Reef Fanny flip flops 🩴fans because they are so comfortable & i never had a problem with them & they look so cool too. Your flip flops 🩴look cool on you man. I hope you keep on wearing them & showing them on the video man cuz it's cool to see you wearing them. Oh i even wear my flip flops 🩴 to work & i am a Truck 🚛 driver Delivering freight long distance & it's so comfortable to work in & people cannot believe that I can do that type of work in flip flops 🩴.
