This VW T-Roc was in so I can test AutoGlym's new Reflow professional product. However, it was MUCH more dirtier than I expected and turned out to be a full day detail!

I can't stand the idea of bird poo being on my car for 1 hour, let alone leaving it on for up to 6 months!

If you follow me on Insta, you'll know that I've had bird poop on my car every day for 12 days, sometimes cleaning more than twice a day! Damn birds have made a nest in the gutter!

Hi Matt, love the videos....well informed and really useful. Looking for a bit of advice. In your opinion what’s the best compound for removing light scratches ? I’ve tried Menzerna heavy cut compound with a hard pad on a DA machine and have had several attempts at it. It is a lot better but can still see them . Was thinking of buying another compound to try but thought I’d message for some advice. Much appreciated.👍

I like the 3M range. The Scholl concepts range is also good... Have you taken paint thickness reading? Sometimes you have to find a happy medium and accept the fact you can't correct every defect.

A happy balance of machine polishing, and then using a filling hand polish to finish with.

That pool car reminds me of a company I worked for as a driver . I argued the toss its first impressions and if Im collecting someone from the airport or taking them to the station you dont wanna sit in a shitted up car , every company car on the front got washed by me during the week . Got me out of doing work and I was doing something I enjoyed plus much nicer to drive I felt being clean

    • @TheDetailingSpace

Nice. I did look at these, but they look like mre flameless heating packs. Usually you can get then for about 1 quid each. I did half half a thought to try to remove some etching off my car bonnet and have a hot lunch at the same time🤪
Either that or use a hand warmer packet. These get up to a fair old heat as well, as the AG ones will probably crazy expensive
