Dodge, Chrysler & Mitsubishi - Key randomly won't turn? Simple fix

If you're struggling to get the ignition key to turn (and tried of using a hammer or your hand to tap the key to align the tumblers), this is for you. The fix is surprisingly easy - you can do this with just a little help from me and Dorman!
We did this work on a 2006 Dodge Ram 1500 ST. However, Dorman makes the same part and similar procedure is used on the following vehicles.

This Dorman 9247-93 cylinder is available from Amazon and from Rockauto. I used Rockauto. The Amazon part makes you choose between “auto” and “manual” and it means no re-learn or re-learn. The one from Rockauto that I used was “with re-learn”.
