It depends on which country you are in, each country has different regulations.

Is this a good facial to treat hormonal acne?
Hi Melissa,
The P acne bacteria is anaerobic - it does not survive in the presence of oxygen.
The OxyGeneo treatment saturates the skin with oxygen from within (true, natural and significant oxygenation).
Therefore, the OxyGeneo is a great treatment for skin with acne. However (!), please note that exfoliating active acne can cause the bacteria to spread - during an OxyGeneo treatment, the clinician needs to make sure not to scrub the acne - but rather to use a spatula and bring the bubbles to the affected area. Also, because the bacteria exists deeper in the skin, after an OxyGeneo treatment you might experience more breakouts - this the skin's way of getting rid of the bacteria. Once these breakouts clear, the complexion will look wonderful.
In any case, it is recommended to consult a skin care professional that will asses your specific condition before attempting any sort of treatment.

Can we use a regular gel like the medical one

NO! in no way, shape or form! the entire technology and the treatment is based upon the accurate combination of the OxyPod, the primer gel and the serum,
Any other gels/capsules/serum will do whatever but certainly not the unique treatment that OxyGeneo 3-in-1 super facial is doing.

How often should this be done?
The OxyGeneo treatment can be done as often as once a week (however, please note that there is no need for aggressive exfoliation every week). The treatment is very healthy for the skin with no downtime.
this doesn't make sense to me - if the skin cells cycle is 3-4 weeks, why would you do it more often than once a month (meaning once every skin cell cycle)?
