If you love retro Class B Chinook RV's this video is for you! Today we have a retro E-series chinook at Weldtec Designs. Just like all the E-series Chinook's that come through the WeldTec Designs doors they all sit really low. Our customers are always coming to us with a laundry list of headaches their chinooks give them. Ranging from low ground clearance, wandering steering, unwanted sway from the front end and a inadequate rear end suspension and many more.
We took this 1995 chinook and put our class b 5" suspension lift kit. We added the diesel fox steering stabilizer to improve handling so you are not white knuckling your steering wheel while going 65 on the highway. We didn't stop there we upgraded the outdated 92-07 sway bar with the 08-current. So your front suspension is as new as a 2022 e-series! We added a set of progressive leaf springs that are built to the weight of the chinook. so you are getting the best ride possible! We loved the way this build came out and we love making these chinooks adventure ready.

I'll have wait to do this kit on my 1997 Ford E-350 Class-C, Work on this rigs is just to Expensive, I had to replace the ball joints, tierod ends and link arms on it my self.

I’ve not searched your whole site but have you done a 4x4 conversion and suspension upgrade on a Chinook? Also, I never hang stuff on the outside of my rigs, so the rear entry is just fine.
NO, Sorry we do not do 4x4 conversion on the Ford Vans. You would be really surprised what you can do with a 2wd with the right setup. Let us know if you would like more info.

@@BillSprague way more offroad capability with something other than the transits.. and if you’re looking at 4x4 for that exact reason, I might recommend the more capable 2wd van than the 4wd transit.
