Boy you just don’t see cars like this anymore. They’ve been scrapped and are license plates now. This is a cool project.👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
Love those 55 wagons. I have one handed down to me from my grandmother 37 years ago. Built my first engine at 16 for it. Just pulled it into my shop to bring it back to life. Thanks for the great video!
Perhaps you might enjoy following along as I get my late father's 1958 Plymouth Suburban back on the road.

Nice job my brothers I like the sound of that welding machine it seems like it's a very good machine.
Those station wagon bumpers used to be popular to delete the tags from the trunk. Just subscribed. Like what I see so far. 👍👉🇺🇸
Nice.
That was a standard thing from manufacturing or was that an option?
Great Job Guys!! 👏👏👏
Good luck it's beautiful
All the places that you have double panel dirt gets in and stays wet so watch out overlapping stuff
Great workmanship!
Good job
Great video
Very cool! Love the ideas for the project!
Your doing a good job eye would sand blast and primer those hinges 🤔👍
The factory uses a fat tip 3/8 in spot welder and overlaps the spot welds till you have one continuous seeing that's waterproof and then you don't need caulk but they caulk it anyway
Good job 👍 985
🎶 “ I ain’t afraid of no ghost” 🎶 👻
That is a nice project to restore a vintage car from the fifties.
That last thing they are going to do is restore it.
Yeah the factory in the old days did drill holes and then weld them but then came along good spot welders and the factory nowadays cold welding with lasers
It's just doing a job have done and make shoplook week-
Esses são o que podemos com convicção dizer verdadeiros aborígenes!!!
Get that nasty frame redone man!
Do you still have the spare tire well? If so, what you want for it? I have a 56 handyman that needs that part. Enjoyed your video...

Was there a reason you didn’t corrosion proof the hinges before you reinstated them?
How can I sell a 65 thunderbird that doesn't start but has a rebuilt engine... Needs lots of work...
Where did you get that car?
Sure wish I had that back bumper
Why do call the five window car a tri five. Where did that come from?
Hi doin a A 56 2 dr wagon needs same parts changed out and was considering the tank change . Will factory filler spout still work , be 56 proprietary I’m sure . Hope to hear back , where did you get your parts CPP ?
The tank is from CPP and it is set up to use the factory fuel fill. The tailgate and rear panel are from Golden Star Classic Auto Parts. The delete kit is from Real Deal Steel.
I don't get the whole spare delete thing. First the fuel capacity was fine for 70 years and second it's a great storage place.
To classic paint it.
You guys need a scatter shield!! Protect your eyes...
The instant I heard harbor freight I lost interest
cheap chinese junk
Why? I got thousands in snap on tools and I also have harbor freight tools. They do the same thing but one does it for less money.
Patina is Spanish for can't afford a paint job
We
If you're only welding sheet metal you should be using one of their 115-volt mig welders there is no argon tank and it has a cold weld and the only cost 200 bucks
in regards to drilling out the Tailgate Screws ? you are replacing the panel so what’s the big Deal? you can easily Weld new Nuts for threads if you need to that shouldn’t be much of a question ? Worst case drill and tap a Steel Plate heck you guys can even design a better system of a floating Plate that allows you to have some small Adjustment for easier Alignment than the Original Part
Is that Nomad? I had a '59 Nomad in Collage, MSU. It was a great travel vehicle for a Geologist.
Is that tattoos or is your arms that dirty
I'd love to see this converted to electric
Anyone leaving a 55 in a patina , doesn’t get my view!
Good job
