      The swearing translation is not 100% mirroring what Adam says. E.G. 8:09 he says "Ty vole" which is definitely that rude as "F..k it" in English. 50 % of boys in Czech (including me) use "ty vole" as a comma in the sentence. It is comparable more to let's say "Dude" when talking to a friend ..... So it means Adam stays very nice and polite even when swearing :-)))) God bless him.

      @Joe Weber A real climber jumps on a problem without warmup and ensuring they wear Solutions. Make sure you attempt 2 grades above your best.

      @@Darkcore71 Personally I just like to stand in one spot and let my inner energy warm me up for me while I'm in a sort of trance. Sometimes I warm up SO well I send a proj before I become conscious again.
      (Full disclaimer: standing still in one spot is NOT an adequate substitute for warming up, unless you're epic like me obviously)

      Actually, I am from the same country and with friends, we sometimes sleep in similar places just under the stars. Hearing this in the middle of the night would be unpleasant. :-D

      It's a fair distance, but the wide lens also tends to exaggerate distances a lot.

    I’m a complete noob and i’ve never climbed outdoor but I would find it really interesting to see all the preparation there is before trying such an hard way. Like does he watch videos of the moves or does he climb parts by parts, how do the cameraman organize themselves and such things ! This was a really great vid with a really nice atmosphere in the dark

    I loved when you were going through the route with Adams commentary and even close-up video of the holds. Would be great to do it more often and more thoroughly.

    Adam is even more awesome when he fails than when he succeeds. He shows you that failing is the teacher of victory and he fails so gracefully that I don't feel an ounce of regret for him. I just know he'll succeed eventually. He's my favorite climber because he loves the climb more than anything.

    Adam! You should definitely do a highlight of your pre-climb warm up at the crag! Watching you and your partner at the beginning makes me extremely curious. Personally I think my preclimb warm up at the crag could do some work, as it is only really on my second climb that I really get myself into a proper climbing groove.
    Love the videos, keep it up!
    Btw, you should definitely come to Squamish again once Corona is history!

    4:48.That Left Foot movement it seems simply anatomic incorrect. A foot so high is aperently useless. But somehow it works (maybe the only way that works). Is This the rock climbing equivalent of a paradox? Adam Ondra In God mode .

      This foot is not there to push Adam's body up as the usual foot placement in climbing. It's here to keep his hips inward by pulling on the toes rather than pushing from it. Watch closely.

    Hi Adam,
    Here's a little question that trigers my mind : Why are you climbing these link ups on such little areas like that (I know roviste i've been there once) when there's king lines waiting for you to be climbed in Elbsandstein ? Over there strong locals are opening 9a s and I ve never heard of you trying them. Long, beautiful, pure lines on perfect sandstone ... It's just by your home, and it's huge. i know you've opened a 9a in Dolni Zleb but there's a lot more to do. Hard, crazy projects are waiting to be bolted by climbers like you ...

      It takes honesty I'd rather say ? But failed attempts in climbing are by definition a part of working a project, I don't see why someone would hide it, that makes no sense.
