I had never before heard the growl of the ondra 6:37 David attenborough should make a documentary about the behaviour of the ondra on rocks in the wild
I love it when routes are shown from different angles and all attempts are shown. It allows me to kinda gauge each move. If I only watch the send I have almost no idea how hard each move is.
I love watching him fall - he does it so well. It doesn't phase him at all and he is so relaxed. Obviously amazing to watch him climb too, but that seems god-like and unattainable for folk like me. Maybe I can fall like him though.
Petr Michalik Well the route itself is slightly overhanging, so I don’t think it would affect the conditions too much. Maybe just the higher humidity, like Adam mentioned.
I've been avoiding watching rock climbing videos because I haven't been able to go due to COVID19 and I thought it would make me upset. But this actually made me feel a lot better.
@@johnsimcox1139 it's just because the line traverses so much. You can see that the rope was taking like a 90 degree angle through the draw he unclips. Usually you'd just extend the draw so it has more room to take a direct path, but it looks like theres a ledge below that he wouldn't want to fall on so it would be dangerous to extend
Seems like after Adam did the 9c silence, he started to rank up other routes to be 9+ if he struggles. Am i right or am i missing something. It's like he is crediting routes harder than they might be since he holds the highest record of the hardest route. Maybe he's getting out of shape or out of his prime and suggest a route is more difficult cause he's not as strong as he used to be. Anyway dont hold too much weight to this comment. im not a climber, im just an curious observer.

The music editing was so dope on this one
Yep I love it too
Love soup

@@oooohlongjohn6468 do you know the name of the song at 3:40
Agree. Matches Ondra's intensity. Very Hans Zimmerish. Reminds me of Interstellar suspense scenes
I feel like Adam should be in an anatomy textbook... He's not classically buff, but at 2:23 you can see every muscle in the human body
Yeah, he's lean as fuck! I would kill for a body like that...might have to take up climbing 🤣
I think he has some more that I don't have
Are you happy now with the next episode? At the end you have the front side which is as lean as the back. So impressive !
@@That-Truck-Guy22 Dude he used to be a rail, he's thicc now
Lmao "not buff", try to achieve this muscle mass with such a low body fat, I can assure you it’s not easy...

he's relaxed... unless he falls right before the end and then screams super loud in frustration
Wanted to write the same thing. Adam can climb, sure, but he can fall, too. Shout out to the person belaying.
Great athlete and great representative of the Czech Republic. Thank you, Adam, and stay strong.
Even the swearing is accurate :D
Not in this video though, he was too polite...
That full crimp and body positioning at 2:17 is just awesome. My favourite part of this video.
Truue
Those shoulders uggh
He is looking even more ripped than normal.
I remember a time when, if I watched an Ondra video, I was semi expecting to see a spindly limb snap under the strain. Now I fear for the rock.
8:21 so 25 6C Boulderproblems to the Crux, then a traverse into another 7C Boulderproblem. Must be nice to be able to think: "Okay I can do this." :)
6C or Harder
Dont forget that the dropknee section is an 8A boulder.
While raining

@@mareksedlak4108 in his Instagram post he said it was fine up until a sloper in the last couple moves was a little wet and he nearly fell
All hail Ondra. We’ve been blessed again with an upload
As usually on a Monday
The route was so hard they named a song after it
just watching him search for a good grip at 06:37 had me nervous. so close to the top and it looks like he can't find a good hold.
relatable haha

3:00 I love these little rants lol
I think it's because they are always so relatable

A track list would be much appreciated!
Great to see Adam scend once again. Loved the shots and sounds!
Have a look at 8:44 :)
When they show the full traverse, you just know the attempt is going to be a send!!
Such amazing videos... well done team.. splendid quality of images, great music and formidable content!
Congrats, Adam. And congrats to the film-makers - as a photographer, I especially liked the textures in the first part of this episode!
Always good to see you(r) back Adam ;)
Real n raw local shredding, love seeing an athlete on home turf.
Do you see how ripped the guys is. That's real muscle. No bodybuilding bullshit. I admire your physic and determination. excellent work.
thanks adam for continuing to post stuff to help keep everyones psych up for when the world opens back up
Thanks for being a positive cool dude. It's nice to see positivity in the world these days!
I absolutely love these videos!!! Please keep them coming!
I am kinda happy he did not send the route in the last video, because this video was stunning!!
great couple of episodes. cool to see the process...struggles and all. Well done!
Just casually trying the hardest route in Bohemia, WHILE it rains. No big deal. Absolute mad lad.
"maybe the line doesn't make much sense but the climbing is just amazing" well, hat off for that!
My new Fav Rock Climbing Vids!
awesome rock and line.
Very good!! So precise! Well done Adam. Stay safe all people.
Your videos like this are very pleasant and spreading healthy motives.
Watching this whilst hangboarding and getting psyched!
just great to watch this , in times the gyms are cloused ..!
Incredible to watch. You try so hard and failure is not an option.
This guy is unreal. Truly inspirational. Thank you climbing god
When I am close to sending a route but have to come back another day, I remember the things you say and how you dealt with it.
unreal adam so beautiful to watch you climb
Such a cool route!! The video really portrays the moves well.
2:20 and 4:00 Monster drop knee with that hold.

Music editing on point 🙏👌
True inspiration 👊👏
yessss ! one more route Adam !! bravo
i don't even climb (except for the hills of Lisbon hehehe), so I've no idea why I keep watching these videos. It all started with Alex Honnold...
Nicely done Adam, epic send!
Pretty good job on climbing and music score!
Very good Adam :) Resistant climbing !!
You are the best......!!!!!
So did you get a music choreographer? I enjoyed this low-key music. This channel is making some really amazing content!
ahh the frustration of last minute adjustments :)
that is the motivation adami! i like the line!
Like a beast! Great video, great line!
There's a monster loose! Great episode

The movement is amazing and the body fitness.

He did need the rain in order to ascent the route.
LOL
Gratulace Adame!
Great movie.
oh this climb, I have done it a few times. It's pretty fun.

6:32 Why'd you unclip that?
It's to reduce rope drag
@@WatchingTheOcean Wow. I've never seen that. I don't think I'll ever be close to that level.

who cleans these routes once you go up? or just free clips for the next ascent? ^^
He actualy downclimbed the whole thing using the clips and took them all off. That process itself is fun to watch
Usually, on hard and very hard routes quickdraws stays in place
More climbing in this then all of free solo

Could this be the only 9a+ route with a ledge fall potential?

I guess every other person on the plant would have rated the route 9b

@Pavel Blažek That is not my point. he is suggesting other routes to be graded UP!
Anyone know why this Czech route is allowed to be bolted, but others are not?
This is a granite sport climbing crag. Limitations for bolting are just in traditional sandstone climbing areas.
Why you called it Bohemian Rhapsody?
