One thing I rate when Sharky hosts is that for every player in the list/honourable mentions he says where everybody who took part in the list had them ranked or if they didn’t have them in their list. I know Haseeb did this for a quite a few of the players, especially where everyone at the table had them ranked, but I think it’s good to hear it for every player where everyone had/didn’t have them in their lists.
Faysal has had an absolute stinker here. He either deflected or just never tried to back up his points when Lyes or Abz questioned him knowing he’d had howler (Stones over Rio). Or just contradicted himself. Or maybe he was doing it for the entertainment which is fair.

Arsenal's invincible season I would also say that Campbell was the best centre back in the league over Kolo toure. Rio doesn't have any specific year I guess but he and vidic were the best centre back partnership in the league for a couple of years

Lampards technical ability and athleticism was underrated, he was so good on the ball. i love how people say "lets put goals and assists aside" then go on to talk about others G/A's, still waiting on a player like him.

At his best he was a slightly more athletic Lampard regen. But the bloke has had so many personal battles and after knowing all that I'm surprised he made it as far as he did tbh.

Respect to Lyes for his segment on Gerrard. Really great non-biased view. In 13/14 where he played cdm doesn't get enough recognition imo. Of course the slip is the major talking point but he was the linchpin in the middle at 33/34, getting 13 goals, 13 assists. He could do it all. Imo, besides Suarez and Yaya, he was the best player in the league that season. What a player.
I’m sorry but Hazard was absolutely ridiculous that year and if it wasn’t for Suarez would’ve won POTY (won the silver award). Aguero was also ridiculous that year and Henderson had 6 goals and 9 assists while playing better than Gerrard imo (most of whoms goals were penalties). Love Gerrard but he was behind a those guys. Still would easily have him over Kane all time

A player that I think was overlooked a bit was vardy. Came in won the premier league with leicster over 100 goals. I’d have thought someone may have had him 10th or smth

Owen's kinda in the R9 bracket. In terms of he burst on the scene, had an incredible 4-5yrs, and then injuries just derailed what was looking like a elite career to that point.

In these lists, get one big name or a celebrity to also pick their top 10 - big youtuber, rapper, boxer, footballer, or even another celebrity in a different field to just compare. Would be interesting I reckon.

Most of them were flopped star in official tournament. Top class players is players who delivered in tournament and when needed unlike mediocre players who only delivered in friendly games or in lower tier cup games. 🤣

Because to say Barnes and Beardsley are flops is a ridiculously inaccurate statement. Saying Beckham is a flop is a ridiculously inaccurate statement. With the implosion of Football Daily, looks like I found my new go-to Football videos.
Tbh Fayz’ hot takes weren’t egregious but he had stinkers when it came to backing them up. I’d have Kane 2nd and his case would be very simple : WC Golden Boot, several 30+ goal seasons and Prem Golden Boots, whilst having added playmaking to his game over the years, and now it looks like he’s going to become the best English export since like, Kevin Keegan. He might not have major trophies to his name and a very sus record in big games, but he’s been consistently among the god tier for strikers since he burst onto the scene. And he’s already the 2nd all time top scorer in the Prem despite playing for Spurs under terrorists like Conte.
Hell, Stones > Rio might be wrong, but with better arguments and a bit of bad faith, it could sound much less insane.
Gerrard played in a worse Liverpool team than Kane played in for Liverpool and dragged his team to a Champions League. That alone puts him ahead of Kane, not to mention he is a much better footballer. Kane isn’t a great playmaker. He has less assists than Jordan Henderson in Premier League history despite playing beside the biggest xG cheater the league has ever seen for most of his time at Spurs. He didn’t square it to sterling and cost England a World Cup, missed a penalty that knocked England out of another World Cup, played awful vs Liverpool in the Champions League final… t doesn’t matter what’s he’s about to do either, to put him over Gerrard in an all time ranking is simply psychotic. Gerrard trumps him on trophies, big games, longevity and ability
@@RPCentral7Brother, I agree that Gerrard had to carry Liverpool on his back a lot especially after Istanbul (with the help of Suarez, Sturridge, Torres sometimes), but at least there was always this fighting spirit in Liverpool, in great part thanks to him, sure. But Spurs have a history of being losers, and more often than not he looked like the only one who tried. And as for the assists and playmaking part, that’s why I specifically said “over the years”, try and do some fucking reading for once. He was terrible at it early on, as he was a pure poacher, but you can’t deny his game has greatly evolved since 2016. I’m not knocking Gerrard, nor am I saying he can’t be above Kane. I’m just explaining why I’d personally have Kane 2nd and why Fayz did a poor job backing up his take, but I can understand someone putting Kane 5th. Hell, I did mention his smelly record in big games. I’m just saying he’s become a wonderful footballer in his own right, which cannot be denied.

The best English export should be Bellingham. He carries the best club of the world, while Kane and Keegan are not as important as Bellingham in Real Madrid.

Would love to see a new version of the video that was done a while back of everyones favourite player in every position/favourite 11, but with a completely renewed cast from when it was last done. 1. Lampard in 2009/2010 season was his most prolific season scoring 27 goals and 18 assists. Gerard most prolific season 08/09 he had 24 goals and 13 assists, Scholes most prolific season 02/03 he had 20 goals and 8 assists.
2. You tried to say Lampard was playing as a second striker which is why he has better stats than the other two yet in his most prolific season the Chelsea frot 3 was Drogba, Anelka and Malouda. How can he be second striker with Anelka and Drogba on the pitch.
3. You also try making the argument that if it was not for Drogba enabling Lampard he wouldn't have those stats. Let's name some of the Strikers the other two played with, Fernando Torres, Luis Suarez, Van Nistelroy, Rooney, Tevez, I'd argue Drogba is a way more selfish striker than all of those I have mentioned. If Lampard could do it playing same position as the other two as I pointed out in my second point, why couldn't the other two do it whilst playing with these world class strikers who enable them more than Drogba enables Lampard? Just admit they weren't on Lampard's level in the final third of the pitch just as I can easily admit Lampard wasn't on their technical ability level in the middle of the park. Stop being bias for once in your life.
