SUPER EASY “ BISTEC RANCHERO CON PAPAS” STEAK and POTATOES

- Hello my beautiful fam welcome back to my kitchen, today I’m so excited to share my super fast, easy and delicious, bistec ranchero (steak with potatoes ) in case you don’t know what that is , basically steak and potatoes in tomato sauce. Like every recipe and every household there are tons of variations that make this delicious recipe , this is the way I was taught and I hope you enjoy it! Ingredients:
1 1/2 lbs skirt steak (or your choice of steak)
4oz tomato sauce
2 serrano peppers
3 Roma tomatoes
1/2 white onion
3 small potatoes
2 bay leaves
1 garlic clove
5 tbsp olive oil
Salt n pepper
1 serving of love 💕
Serve with your choice: goes perfect with rice, beans and flour tortillas 🤤

Does anybody else just wing it?? I don’t have ALL the ingredients that she has we don’t like onion or garlic but I try to substitute regardless. I love her cooking!
Yes!! I dislike onions but the flavor it gives is great! My husband is mexican so when I started making recipes he would teach me he would be like you cannot leave out the onions.
You guys onion and garlic is what gives everything flavor! Lol my boyfriend doesn't "like" onion, tomato, zucchini and like a bunch of other veggies. The onion and garlic just chop them up super duper fine and they'll basically dissolve in whatever you're cooking! I'll make something and he's all enjoying it and I'll be like you know there's a whole onion in there right? And he's like like 😮 I can't taste it, just the flavor 😉.
My sister in-law blends them n the blender my brother has no idea....... AHAHA

That’s pretty cool your dad would prepare this for you. My dad does did the same thing for me and my brother and sister. When my mom was working , he would make us this dish. His go to dish, actually his only dish he cooks haha, he still makes it sometimes and invites me over to dinner. Pretty cool to know your dad enjoys this dish also.
