Nalanda was a renowned mahavihara (Buddhist monastic university) in ancient Magadha , India.Considered by historians to be the world's first residential university and among the greatest centers of learning in the ancient world, it was located near the city of Rajagriha (now Rajgir) and about 90 kilometres southeast of Pataliputra . Operating from 427 until 1197 . Nalanda played a vital role in promoting the patronage of arts and academics during the 5th and 6th century CE, a period that has since been described as the "Golden Age of India" by scholars.

ഹിന്ദു - ബുദ്ധ സംഘർഷം ക്രമേണ ഭാരതത്തിൽ ബുദ്ധമതം തകർക്കപ്പെട്ടു. ഹിന്ദു മത സ്വാധീനം കുറഞ്ഞ രാജ്യങ്ങളിൽ (ചൈന, ജപ്പാൻ, ശ്രീലങ്ക ...) ഇന്നും ബുദ്ധമതം പ്രബലമാണെന്നതും ശ്രദ്ധിക്കുക.

There is a clear attempt at othering ceftain cimmunity in India. It is indeed a fact. There is this whtsap forwarded message being circulated with clear intention of maligning certain community. That forward message has the same title as this video.
Historically, as you say in the video, Nalanda has been attacked several times. Khalji's was the final blow. We could not say that attack alone was the only reason for its failure. Buddhist culture had already been made weak by various forces even before the Khalji attack. His attack was the final blow and the already weakened Buddhist culture could not get back in its feet this time. Sad. Another great loss in our history, just like Alexandria, just like Bagdad's Baithul Hikma..
This title clearly adds to the Sangh interpretation of the history that aims at willifying and demonising certain section if the siciety. But your content touches upon almost every aspect of the event. Hats off for that. Only that title plays to the same sengiments as those forwarsed message on whatsapp plays to.
@@maqsoodp1806 the decisive attack against nalanda is of bhakthiyaar khilji's...so whats wrong in this tiltle....there may be minor destructions faced by nalanda before him...but major complete destruction in which the nalanda has not recovered was done by khilji so today all will see him as the main destroyer of nalanda...its because of him the nalanda is completely destroyed...so he is the main destroyer of nalanda university...nalanda has stopped working because of bhakthiyaar khilji....so one can definitely call him as destroyer of nalanda university.....yaa buddhist culture is declining at that time in india...but thats not the reason why nalanda has completely stopped.. its because of bhakthiyaar khiljis massive destruction in which recovery is not possible....the attacks before him was not massive as that done by him.. and also in that attacks the books which is the main thing of the nalanda university was not burned or destroyed....but khliji has destroyed each & everything so that the nalanda cannot recover after.......thats why nalanda has not recovered after that....the reason you are saying is not strongly matching with the facts that happened in real history...
