I agree. I don't even eat fruits and vegetables, since they are living things. In order for me to eat it, it can't been a living organism. I'm better than everybody.

Because their usual reaction to pain otherwise is struggling, moving about in the pot. That is absent here, meaning they are unconscious.
Thats why they froze them in the beginning to put them to "sleep". They don't feel anything when they are "asleep." According to him.

Blanc is a perfectionist and can be stern.. but never seems to let his temper and ego take control, unlike Gordon and Marco Pierre White
