My family is Cantonese and when I hear "fish soup" I think of Chinese fish soups as well, such as the preparation with bok choy and ginger, and another with Szechuan peppercorns and pickled vegetables. I'm just nitpicking of course and I think French cuisine is fantastic. Cheers Raymond
I did this recipe with some sole bones and langoustine shells I had left over, but otherwise followed the recipe to point. Oh my fucking god this soup was amazing! To all the haters, go ahead and try it and you will change your mind.
Unfortunately marinating wont penetrant fish or meat it doesn't matter what you do it just wont you can make really elaborate marinades but no matter what you do your on a highway to nothing
You can think of the south of France have all of these wonderful fish, but the MED IS DEAD BABY, ZED is dead Baby so the boats go else where, which is why European fish has gone up in price 40%.

No need to watch this. It's my approach to cooking/fish soup. Two meals in one, but isn't that obvious?
