We need your continued support so we can continue this humble program of ours.
We need people like you so we can reach poor Filipino families, one at a time.
I've been helping and reaching my fellow Filipinos for more than a decade, since 2006, but without recording it on film.
I just decided to film the activities we do in 2015 to spread awareness.
This time guys: I need your help. I need your helping hands to give joy to Filipino families, one at a time.
    How it works:
Your contribution goes straight to the individual/family we reach/help.
After we reached/helped 1 individual/family: We then move on to help another.
Our objective is to reach 1 economically poor individual/family, one at a time.
    Important notes:
    1. I personally don't receive/get/take/pocket any amount of financial contributions from you guys.
Your contributions go straight to the families we reach and to other expenses.
    2. I do not publish on youtube the stories of the families we reach w/o a signed release agreement and parental/guardian consent.
The release agreement gives me a permission to publish their stories on youtube.
    3. Business, personal and GoFundMe fundraiser accounts: All the funds, contributions, sources of income and other monetary sources that go into my accounts are being reported to the taxman. My bank also reports to the taxman every year, by the end of the year, FYI.
There's a Certified Public Accountant who does the accounting and auditing of my accounts.
The Certified Public Accountant reports to the taxman.
    4. You don't need to open and register a charitable organization/foundation/institution to give help to people in the Philippines.
Reaching and giving help to people in the Philippines is not illegal.
There's no law that states, that you need to open and register a charitable organization/foundation/institution first, before you are able to give help to people legally.
    5. GoFundMe checks the fundraiser account from time to time.
They sometimes ask for verification and validation.
The reason why I upload films/videos about poverty in the Philippines is to spread social awareness.
To combat economic inequality, social injustice, oppression, repression, abuse and exploitation:
1st: We have to be aware.
    2nd: We should pay attention.
3rd: We are ought to do something about it.
We as Filipinos and citizens of this planet should not turn a blind eye, not to play deaf and not to pretend mute.
We as human beings have a responsibility to give care and to show compassion to others.
We as citizens have a great responsibility to safeguard our ball of genuine democracy.
We as citizens have a responsibility to fight tyranny and corruption.
A documentary film/video like this one is very important, because it opens our eyes to the unjust societal reality.
How could we turn a blind eye on social injustice and huge economic inequality?
    Wake up, my fellow citizens!

I’ve noticed a big difference with the poor in Manila than the poor grassroots, the Manila people get on with it you very rarely see them crying about how hard life is over and over again they just get on with trying to get through another day and I’ve came to the conclusion that the grassroots people don’t have the same opportunities to find food in the small villages yes they can fish, and try making charcoal or snails, frogs but the homeless in Manila have some places where the homeless can get food free as we have seen in another of cesar’s videos and they can scavenge so although some people might find the grassroots videos as predictable and alway’s talking about how hard life is and I truly believe it is harder for them collecting firewood to sell there isn’t much left for them to improve their lives this is just “ my” observation.

It's so sad that they live in extreme poverty 😞 and it seems like she hoards all the stuff around her house instead of recycling it. The little boy need shoes too. Thanks for showing us the true reality of the Philippines. God Bless everyone who helps 🙏

I have seen this in Manila when I lived In General Trias for 4 years. This kind of poverty is almost commonplace. I’ve also seen it in Imus, Bacaoor and Zapote. It’s truly heartbreaking but when you live amongst it day after day you kind of just accept it as life in the Philippines. I do not know what the answer is because i have also witnessed estafa, corruption and thievery at every level. I am doubtful that the Philippines will ever change in my lifetime at least, and i have been traveling back and forth since 1981 and also as I said, I lived there for years until I to went broke, however I came back to the USA and started over again from Zero. In a way i am fearful to try to live there again because of my past experience. There is no point to this comment but I am thankful to Mark no where man , his contributors, Cesar and the rest for helping and bringing this HUGE problem into the light where the rest of the world can see what really happens on the other side of the world.

Maybe her son is half white, maybe not, the only one who really knows is his mum.. Either way they are hungry and skin color matters not when their tummies are empty. If the child is from a white man, does he even know? Maybe he is a married man who traveled to the Philippines and whispered sweet lies into her ears, then had his fun and run and in that case SHAME ON HIM! I wish all the best for Mum and son, she is doing her best with what she has. Thankyou Sir Mark and your wife an all the crew for providing help where it is needed the most. Just a question. Where are all the religious groups while you are busy helping the poor? I implore You all (Mark and Co) to Please be careful. I now understand just how dangerous it really is. Please stay safe.

She earns a couple of bucks for all that hard work EVERYDAY and yet i went to work today and it started raining so i came back home because i couldn`t do my job properly. She said that she felt embarrassed about being a squatter but after watching her story i`m the one who should be embarrassed. Too True Mate, in the meantime I'll call her "Super Mum", she is a grafter and no mistake, an inspiration to us all. She will get another visit I'm sure. Unfortunately the corruption and neglect of it's poorest by the Philippine government is no isolated case as we see in many countries around the world. We have our own example here in the UK and who can ignore the circus currently being played out in the USA! What has the world come to?

There's animals that people have you could feed them and cats they have and dogs they have, why don't you participate in giving food to the animals? It's really sad to see him well. My opinion, when I see people that's lazy. The woman are the man I could care less if they ate and there's a lot of money here. This lady don't seem to be lazy. But don't her husband must be a drunk? And abusive but animals need to be fed on here too

People like this should turn to the sea. Not expensive to buy a fishing rod and reel. And fish goes fast in Asia, so she wouldn't have any problem selling her catch or even eating it herself. The Phillippines is teaming with fish. In this way she isn't being given a fish by Mark, but has the means to always make money and always have food with her craft. And even if she doesn't have a freezer, she can dry salt them too. Turning to the sea is always a good choice for the poor.
