- Actor David Harbour joins Rob to discuss his role in the hit Netflix show, Stranger Things. We hear what it's like to work with the Duffer brothers and to suddenly get recognised as Chief Hopper in his local coffee shop. Plus, a few hints on what to expect from Season 5.
David also talks about his latest play, Mad House, what it’s like seeing his own face on the TV, and working with the great Al Pacino.

I saw this on TikTok and all I could think was, ROB BRYDON has a podcast! Been a fan for a while.
They had only just met????? They were talking as if they knew each other for years! Fanstastic.
They have a lot of separate but shared experiences. They’ve been through the same crucible.
I feel like they were joking. When Rob said, "It's great to finally meet you at the apex of your career" that seemed like an in-joke. I could be wrong, but I felt there was more to it than just a chance meeting.
Rob Brydon has a great personality. He connects with everyone.
@@garrick3727 I bet they had a chat somewhere and Brydon asked him to do this between visiting the Tower and Madame Tussaud's. This certainly does not feel like the press tour where every interviewer gets their 30 minutes and Harbour answers the same ten questions for 14 hours.

I've seen him discuss what acting is/ means and his process around roles. He's very technical. He has such a beautiful way of explaining his craft. Great wordsmith. I think he'd make a fine author.

In Stranger Things, the kids are great, the “teens” are great, Winona is great, but David Harbour MAKES that show in my opinion.
Hopper and Nancy are my two favorite characters!

David is amazing in the play. One of the greatest things is he has stayed true to his roots. He still studies in an acting class and works on his craft withTony Greco. My brother is in the class and says he still shows up and works. It is so great that an actor does that
OMG, I just LOVE David Harbour. Great interview. It will be sad to see an end to Stranger Things and the wonderful character of Jim Hopper, but it will also be interesting to see what other characters he can bring life to.

Wow, Rob! Nicely done! Just enough humour to make it great _and_ make David feel relaxed. This really felt more like an intimate conversation. It is always great to see David Harbour out of character; he seems like a wonderful person who would be very nice to be friends with. Great actors and great interview once again! Really nice to see Harbour as a guest as well! He's a great interviewee and actor and I really admire Brydon's natural, laid back way of interviewing that makes the guest and listener feel completely at ease and relaxed.
