😂
Seth and David have great interview chemistry
😆 Seth made me love this man.
"There's a romance" and his shiny shoes! He's got it all! 👍
Love David Harbour! The house tour was GORGEOUS! If you can afford to clean it, then have your bathroom carpet!
Afford? Hoover it like normal. Some hoovers can wash as well. Normal in the UK to have carpets in the bathroom. Keeps it warm.
I just found it so interesting seeing the differences between his first and second AD tours. Its night and day which is why I was shocked by the many artistic choices in the house bc none of it carried over.
Didn't he decorate his previous apartment while he was single though? Cause that would answer it lmao
I love David Harbour so muuuuuch. You know he's a great dad. Also I loved their house hahaha
No, you don't know that....
Tell me you have daddy issues without telling me
I grew up with a white shag carpeted bathroom with metallic wallpaper - pure lux 70's. I loved it and it made it so chill...and I guess romance.
🤣😭 the tweets are hilarious!💀
"There's a romance to a carpeted bathroom." More like his romance depends on agreeing to a carpeted bathroom.
We had a carpeted bathroom when I was young. It was glorious.
David would be a blast to have as a father! You would get in trouble but wouldn't be able stop laughing!
My Opa loved having carpet in the bathroom, he wanted it everywhere in the house.
I watched the house tour and all the comments were positive and talking about their good chemistry, I never saw a single comment about the floor.
im so happy this carpet bathroom thing was discussed.
I carpeted our bathroom because my ex-wife, in her final years, was very unsure on her feet. I was terrified that she would slip and fall, which could be fatal. I tried rugs but if there was any uncovered space, she might step on it and slip. I know all the objections to carpet but I had bigger concerns.
Grew up with a carpeted bathroom--was not a big deal, and you're right--never had a concern of slipping outside of the tub!
@@heather54101 What concerns? Wet slippery bare feet on smooth tile near a sliding glass door? What could possibly go wrong? 🥺
@@radicalross7700 🤣 Sounds like a Home Alone trap now, thinking about a bathroom without a carpet.
her final years? if she died she isn't really your ex wife. you still have a wife.
@@biegebythesea6775 We were married. Then we divorced and lived apart. Then we lived together for financial reasons. Her health failed before mine and she died. Sorry if I was unclear.
my parent's master bathroom which i shared with them - so i guess it's not a master bathroom - was always carpeted and I loved it!!! always cozy - never cold feet!
"We have a Ghost" is a suprise David Harbour's movie. Didn't expect he's becoming ghost after Santa Claus 🤣. But I'm looking forward for live action "Grand Turismo" !
LOVE THE CARPET
“I liiiike it” lol.
"I like terrariums"
I had an old apartment that had a orange shag carpeted bathroom. It was awesome.
I'm assuming they have figured out a way to make sure the carpet dries properly. They have both made good money and I'm sure the carpet and floor underneath is meant for wet situations. Besides, plenty people have died by slipping on wet tile in their bathrooms. That won't happen with carpet.
Its their fault for buying slick tile. My bathroom tile feels like sandpaper in the middle portion of the room and in the shower.
heated floors maybe?
You have a mat over the carpet, you stand on to dry yourself. When finished, hang the mat up, over something like the bath. It will be dry for the next time. No Problem, normal in the UK to have carpets in the bathroom.
@@darrenmitchell2830 It isn't normal in the UK to have a carpeted bathroom!
Was their place built in 1983? Are they my parents? 😂😂😂
No, he has swans. If it were the early 80s, it would be ducks with blue bows around their necks.
To whomever makes the playlists: could you please add the videos in the right order? Thank you.
I think a heated tile floor with a shag washable rug would be a better option. 😂
I haven't seen the video, but as a child of the 70s I miss shag carpet (so ugly but so comfy and throw rugs in the bathroom. Anyway, people should be able to do whatever makes them happy in their space. When did folks become so gratuitously judgemental?!
Thank you SO much for your comment! No one on here has to clean that carpet! So let these people be!
Lily Allen’s “The Fear” was actually about trailing bath water onto the carpeted floor in her master bathroom.
The carpet and the whole bathroom design is a step back in time to the Golden Girls
I dated a girl for a few years back in my late teens/early twenties who had a carpeted bathroom and it was awesomely weird lol
Carpets are normal in the UK, it's a cold country. Carpets give a nice feeling of warmth.
Imagine what the bit right in front of their toilet must smell like.
I don't have to, I'm just imagining someone else bending down and sniffing it, and letting us know.
I’d rather not lol
His first single apartment was lit. This house really looks like a clown house. 😄 And one of the scary clowns out there.
This was so funny lmao
The dad of this generation
Te amo demais David harbour 💗💋💋💓💓💓💓💓💓
Wow! How have I neer seen a David Harbor interview prior to this??
He seems beyond amazing.
He nows joins Ruffalo as my absolute favorite guests.
Edit: my apologies, Mr. Harbour, for the misspelling of your name.
David Harbour is a carpeted bathroom.
Wookie.
Really nice at first but gets really disgusting after a couple years?
Lmfao gottem
David Harbour...YA BURNT
@@GeminiWoods it's quicker than years. Imagine the smell of a neglected damp wookie soaking into your couch for the next week or so...
Carpeted bathroom? He better only sit down when he pees.
I've been in a couple of carpeted bathrooms. They were put in by people 70 years ago. The stains were about the same age. Nobody's talking about the flaky wallpaper either?
THANK YOU!! I wondered about that, too!!
My great aunt and uncle had carpet in their bathroom and kitchen. It was brown.
My grandparents had carpets in both their bathrooms and we loved it as kids but it must have been a nightmare to clean. (Maybe because our houses are rarely made from wood here we dont really have mold problems so thats not an issue)
@Bønzëaux Błëuxgrēn lol ok we dont have mold issues so i have no idea why usa has such a mold problem . Assumed its the way they build their houses
Where is “here”
@@FIONAFINKS many places in the US have very humid a climate, hence mold. I have to run a dehumidifier 3 seasons out of the year or I get a musty/moldy basement.
I'm in the US and grew up with a carpeted bathroom, which my grandparents put in. The house I purchased was built at the same time and also had carpet in the bathroom (which I removed because it was very old). Not my top choice for a bathroom, but it really wasn't a huge deal--in fact, it was nice and warm on my feet, and I never slipped!
Andrew Duggan talk about Randolph Scott
I didn’t know he was married to Lily Allen.
Even the Demogorgon isn't a big enough monster to have carpet in its bathroom!
He's so much sharper than most actors.
I grew up with wall to wall lime green shag carpet in the bathroom. It looked like muppet fur.
So much progress 2018 on.
Idk about Damien but Marc respected me
Our bathroom has hardwood floor and it's the worst idea ever established... carpet in the bathroom is an equivalent.
I watched the AD episode and the kids aren't wrong.
If it's a personal carpeted bathroom then who am I to judge?
There's nothing "controversial" about a carpeted bathroom - it's awful and disgusting and literally 100% of all human beings agree.
Of course a carpeted bathroom! 🤦🏻♀️ So 1990 southern England…
Agree it’s literally disgusting
i mean tell that to the UK or other places in europe. if you're in a very hot country it's different.
I recently learned that he's married to Lilly Allen.
I didn’t see a toilet in that carpeted bathroom, and honestly, that’s the only concern I have with carpeted bathrooms. Is it the most practical for tubs? No, but whatever. No toilet, no problem.
If David Harbour ever gets worried about Chinese nuke balloons at least he can just hop in his space fridge
Now let's see him defend that recipe he's got with 2 cups of vanilla extract.
That doesn't sound right
WTF? Is he drinking it?
@@sammygirl6910 It was a meme around last Halloween. Reddit was looking for one-sentence horror stories until someone just posted the phrase "carpeted kitchen" at which point it all devolved into the eeriest phrase you could think of; the winner beat out 'carpeted bathroom' and 'fried Tinker Bell' with the phrase "add two cups vanilla extract."
@@danielgehring7437 wait, you’re telling me the vanilla extract thing pre-dates polls on tumblr?
Having grown up with carpeted bathrooms, I honestly don't understand all the controversy about it. Keep the water in the tub/toilet/sink where it belongs, vent when you shower, and put something down on the floor (bath mat, towel, etc) when you get out. Do that, and basic cleaning chores, and there's no reason you can't have a lovely bathroom *and* warm toes. 🤷🏽♀️🤷🏽♀️
Amen. While I removed the bathroom carpet when I purchased my house because it was old and it was a small enough space I could get by with a vinyl sample, I grew up with a carpeted bathroom as well and it wasn't an issue at all! In the winter, it would be nice to have a warm floor.
NO carpeted bathroom, EVER.
I noticed right away, what is wrong w them
I grew-up with carpet in the bathroom till I was 11-12. You whip-out and completely miss you just shrug. You can't clean the carpet like you can wipe-off tile or lino. The best you'll do is throws t.p. on it and stomp on it. Unacceptable.
Or you get rid of the carpet.
Or get a carpet cleaner.
Nope for me. I'd rather have an industrial home with a copper tub and a concrete floor, a skylight and absolutely no paisley or anything. But if it makes people happy...I guess? I just think it's really hard to properly clean a bathroom with carpeting. I mean...how do you bleach around the toilet? If I didn't rent...I'd rip out the carpeting in my living room and entry way. Dust traps, dust mite feeding grounds.
Why do Americans get so uptight by something as mundane as having carpet on the bathroom floor? If one lives in a cold climate, there is nothing worse than stepping from a hot bath onto a block of ice. So childish.
Also if he worked on cop shows he should know about the false lie detector gimmicks, you use a colander
f the carpets how did that guy get lilly. not fair
As an architect i get really judgy of people’s decisions. But i like people who think out of the box too. Carpet is fine, just not theirs, jot that print’ not those stupid puffy drapes, not withTHAT wallpaper. Any of those can flynon their own. Together it’s a nightmare. A very american view of ’old world style’.
Controversial? Nah. Carpeted bathrooms are where it's at, nothing Controversial here, nothing to defend
-1%
We are the majority.
Live the people
This is how we end up with everyone having all white/grey bathrooms and kitchens. People end up afraid to make a choice that actually reflects their own personality.
You think your white subway tile is stylish? It's just generic.
I didn’t know why this was happening so at one point I apologized to Tom Collins for saying caught in a bad bromance or supporting Lucy? Idk.
Stand up against the 1%.
Figure it out.
1 percent.
I think carpeted bathrooms falls into the category of “trashy if you’re poor, stylish if you’re rich.”
They already have school age kids? I thought they got married recently and neither had kids previously.
Here's the thing: Carpets are controversial no matter where you put 'em. Its a 'YUCK!' thing to have - ever since the dawn of Mr. and Mrs. Caveman.
Very well said. I personally can't stand carpets anywhere in my house, I just choose to use slippers like I feel any civilized person should.
You're not wrong.
Carpet and pad actually feels good on the feet, are you sure you're not just really dirty? 😂
You can't blame bad taste on a pandemic
If I was married to Lily Allen, we'd also have carpeted bathroom.. It was normal growing up in the UK in the 70s/80s, old school, cosy..afterall, Its the gorgeous Lily Allen, you winner 🏆 Dave.. happy wife =......
Carpeted bathroom is the most gross thing ever
St mikes and the license plate? I did lie about that.
How did firefighter guy know I got lost on Richards Ave awhile before I met him? Why did my brother ask me about Richards Ave?
A carpeted bathroom is *very* English
americans are so weird if they find this strange.
Walk on back gate
Close to Damien’s aunts house
The best thing about "stranger things" is the soundtrack to the second season. I wouldn't bother actually watching any of it at all ever.
Is it just me or is David Hopper like… a little drunk?
If you can afford to change it out once a year to keep it clean then maybe?
Ewww ... ditch the bathroom carpet.
It is just unsanitary I'm sorry it is
What controversial carpet bathroom?
