- House Bar Emmon are an interesting house, at one time or another being sworn to The Stromkings Of House Durrandon, House Targaryen, and the House Baratheon of Dragonstone. Playing a important role during the reign of King Maegor The Cruel, they would always be involved in the politics of kings landing, supporting Rhaenyra Targaryen and the blacks during the dance of the dragons. In the main books during the war of five kings they are key supporters of Stannis Baratheon and remain loyal to him even after the blackwater.
