Michigan Foot Doctors I fractured my fifthtill last June I didn’t do much to it except letting it heal by itself, even though I didn’t feel that much pain after few months but I felt my toe was never healed completely I still felt a little pain specially when I hold it or move it, now since I am Quarantine at home in a house arrest LOL I start feeling more pain and noticing that there’s a little pump in the left side start to come out which is a bone. I do not want to do surgery I am definitely freaking out it really hurts if I walk with it or even sometimes when I’m around the house. I don’t know what to do and how can I help to reverse it without any surgery specially because it still in the beginning. Please advice and please move to New York. Oh and by the way I went online to try to see what can I do in one of the things that I came across is taping I have been taping it and if it’s taped it’s not as painful as it is when it’s not. Sorry I have a lot of questions I guess but please what should I do. Knowing that I called my doctor specialist and he is such a baby he doesn’t wanna come to the office because he doesn’t want to get sick even though the office is empty LOL it’s scary but it’s also funny. Specially when the area he works on does not have that many cases either anyway please advise I can’t wait for another month for him to get back to work and I’m freaking out. 🥴
My fifth toe pain is caused by the remnants of a tailor’s bunion correction. They put a screw on the side of the foot and then my foot started hurting and swelling so they went in and removed the screw after a few months (and scar tissue) and now I have a much less prominent 6th tone bunion but it still gets inflamed and angry at times.
My arch is low, my feet are not quite flat. I am a supinater, so I put a lot of weight on the 5th metatarsal. The bunion will rub if I have poor shoes (which includes most shoes). i also have an issue with putting my supination csusing me to put excess pressure on the 5th metatarsal head. That is painful and sometimes feels like walking on a rock. It has even caused a warn out spot on a sandal I no longer wear because of the aforementioned problem. I don't know if you would consider this a unique situation. This is the right foot. My left isn't as bad. I finally have an apt with a podiatrist near me. Hopefully he will have a solutuon.
I love the dedication to the video as proven by the markered foot - the tips are helpful and beyond the self advertising 3 minutes I've seen come up first in my search. Thanks!
Thank you for watching. Absolutely this could be the case! If reasonable, we would appreciate a quick rating from you, and a good rating makes a MASSIVE difference for us! g.page/r/CSudMUZfg68sEAI/review Thank you for being such a great fan; we appreciate you watching!
I have obvious tailors bunions. They aren't really painful. My problem is the fifth metatarsal head causes an unnatural and painful pressure point on the bottom of my right foot.
How often do you suggest wearing the bunionette corrector? Would you recommend wearing it while sleeping? Will it retrain the toe back into the correct position if caught at a young age and worn frequently?
Wow we really appreciate the kind words. great feedback like this is what really keeps us working hard to make better and more meaningful content. If possible we would really appreciated a review from a great fan like you! g.page/r/CaxJ9b-O6o27EAg/review Thank you for being such a great fan and we really appreciate you watching!
Okay this definitely sounds like my case! Back in middle school, I sat criss cross in that exact way, and a growth started forming. I’ve had it until I graduated high school! I recently had to get surgery to extract it because my foot started hurting when walking. My doctors are very confused as to what was removed from my foot!
This is a really good video!! Honestly? Welcome to the “fun” of having Ehlers Danlos Syndrome (hEDS). Even with excellent shoes & custom orthotics, I constantly have foot issues, as well as knee and hip problems due to the EDS. (🙄 Ah, the “joys” of being born with a connective tissue disease). Appreciate the info, I’ll be sure to mention my foot pain to the doc next time I see him. Tbh, I was already pretty sure it was a tailors bunion issue - both feet have the same problem, although it’s my left that’s causing the most pain at the moment. I’ll pop out to the chemist, see what all they might have for bunion pads as a temporary solution until I can get in to see my podiatrist. Thanks again.
I live in Australia in the hottest state that doesn’t really have a winter so I live in Birkenstock’s all year round or barefoot as I work from home. I have what I was told is a soft bunion (outside little toe). It’s not sore at all, not red……it’s just annoying I can’t get any shoes to fit me. Like you said it feels like my foots getting wider and wider and wider.
My bunionette started after a stress fracture just below it. I also have accessory navicular that may be causing my arches to go flat. I'm 66 and am just starting to have pain from all this.
Had surgery for my flat feet but they're still partially flat. So I think that's what's causing the rubbing. I thought my days of orthotics were over but I guess not.
I think I have a tailors bunion but there’s no pain. My toes are very curly and have been my whole life. I do want my toes to be straight and in a normal position
I had this bunionette operated on. They had to remove the screw a few months later because it was getting irritated. Now, 2 1/2 years later I am getting swelling and bursa type inflammation on this tiny toe. I have hud full bunion surgeries on each foot (and review of the surgeries on each one). I want to know how to keep from getting this red swelling. It is bad even if I haven't work shoes for days. Not a fan of these steroid shots either. I am open for other ideas besides more horrific shots (I preferred the surgery over the shots, even). I am on Meloxicam for systemic inflammation and I am on Prednisone quite a bit for other conditions. That helps, but I just want the pain to stay away. I own all of those splits and that seems to make the foot too wide for my wide width shoes, even.
I live in sandals year round, nothing is rubbing on that area outside my pinky toe. I have no ingrown toenails and I don’t sweat unless spending time in a sauna or hot yoga. I don’t know what to do for it
Wow, we appreciate the kind words and your watching. Yes the tailors bunion can cause a bump on the outside of the knuckle and cause the toe to angle inward for sure. If reasonable, we would appreciate a quick rating from you, and a good rating makes a MASSIVE difference for us! g.page/r/CaxJ9b-O6o27EAg/review Thank you for being such a great fan, and we appreciate you watching!
The Asics mesh shoes does help alot for after work at the shop, also use a Sketcher work shoe that's been bothering me its fairly new and not as soft as the Asics.
While trying to figure out how to fix this, I look down at my feet( Im laying in bed) and my foot is resting on my 5th toe, my taylors bunion is folded and my foot is resting on it. Surgery would not help if my feet naturally find this position.
I tried to emphasize in the video, but in most cases of you can stop the foot from flattening out, most people don't have a problem with the actual joint or bone which is great news!
Michigan Foot Doctors thank God we are safe I am safe just staying home for so long by yourself could drive you crazy I mean it drove my toe crazy 😫🙈 I hope your guys are doing good as well and safe over there in Michigan and yes please we need more doctor like you in New York that really knows how to explain in detail. 😊
Michigan Foot Doctors i’m really new on this messaging back-and-forth through CZcams actually this is my first time so I’m trying to figure it out as it goes, i’m receiving your replies in pieces sorry if I’m confusing you but I’m trying to do my best. You are one of really a few people that have videos on CZcams talking about the fifth toe bunion, specially in details at least for me I hope you could do more video of how if it’s possible to reverse it I like my high heels and I don’t like the pain and I definitely do not wanna do surgery. 😢
Ginny, thanks for the great response! Fissures are an anal injury that result from the stretching of your anal mucosa beyond its normal capacity. This often happens when stools are hard due to constipation. Once the tear happens, it leads to repeated injury. The exposed internal sphincter muscle beneath the tear goes into spasm. This causes severe pain. How do you connect fissures with bunionette treatment? If possible, we would appreciate a quick and easy rating from you, and a good rating makes a BIG difference for us! g.page/r/CZWo3fJqJrVpEBM/review Thanks again for watching!
