I especially loved Georgia and Armenia in JESC 2022 and overall it was a great show. I don't think of JESC as the lesser competition at all. The kids and many of the songs are amazing! I kind of hated the French song that won last year, but it was fun watching the boy be so happy about winning. That was pure unadulterated joy.

- There is no semifinals at Junior Eurovision, so there is no Big5 :)
- Some countries participate at Junior Eurovision, but not in adult version and vice versa.
- Scandinavians are very against competition with children, so they've been not participating for years.
- Estonia will debut this year!

Kazakhstan 🇰🇿 first time debuted in 2018 with Wales 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿, the competition was held in Minsk, Belarus that year. They debuted with, you maybe know her... Daneliya Tuleshova & came 6th but this year they withdrew for the first time. Hopefully they return in 2024. Also the girl came last (unfortunately), she's from Malta 🇲🇹
