“Astronaut Howard Wolowitz.” Redemption!!!
Why
@@zorroshow221 because he always denied that he was an astronaut
And rags on him for only having a Masters, not a PhD
I thought he would say "Mr wolowitz"😂
@@Checker01337It's not so much that he denied Howard having gone to space, it's just that he didn't consider it a major accomplishment.
“Is that Buffy the Vampire Slayer?” Focus, Sheldon. Focus. Hahahahaha!
Yep, she it's!🤣🤣🤣
(Pilot) Leonard: Our babies would be smart and beautiful.🤣🤣
(Final) Sheldon: Their babies would be smart and beautiful.😁😢
Our not are
This scene ALWAYS makes me cry. It shows just how far Sheldon has come from the beginning of the show
He spent most of the episode treating his friends like nothing. I mean yeah the speech itself is good but it made no sense for them to forgive him after how he treated them.
Sheldon was a very inconsistently written character imo
He's the same as when the show started, only difference is now he gets physically intimate, he hasn't come far at all besides the intimacy, he's still the same selfish, self-centered, arrogant and pedantic character he's always been
It happens to me too. Some don't have appreciation for this character because of his quirks or some don't go beyond what they see or use empathy. You have to have this type of trait very present in order to be able to appreciate this character. Others focus on the bad instead of the goodness that comes out of people. This was the biggest goal of his life and instead of focusing on himself, he took this moment to honor his friends. I'm glad that you appreciate this character as much as I do.
He didnt come far, really... Even in the last episode he was treating everyone with the same disdain that he had for people back in season 1. Even in season 12 they had a scene where howard dresses as sheldon and sheldon cannot figure it out
@@Joseph-gm3qmCheer up son.
The way that Sheldon calls not only Leonard, but Penny too, his dearest friends, always makes me cry. 😭
Oh wow, I've seen you all over the Game Grumps Jontron era. Fancy seeing you here.
“Howard, Bernadette, Raj, Penny, Leonard I apologise if I haven’t been the friend you deserve but I want you to know in my way I love you all”
That’ll do, Sheldon. Well done.
Amy’s tiara will never get old. It should be a national treasure.
Despite the fact that he spends most of the show being obnoxious, this is a real redeeming moment for him. It was a great way to end the show.
Yeah. Because it shows that deep down, he is a good person. He just doesn’t know how to show it because the part of the brain that should know is not developed right.
@@JuanEnriqueFloresJr VERY deep down.
@@JuanEnriqueFloresJrNo they did not. I’m reading the newest book written and in no way is he anything. Read the book and you will see what person he’s based on.
@@JuanEnriqueFloresJr😂😂😂Not true.
He's autistic, not obnoxious. ❤💎🦋😘
"But I'd like to set it aside."
*"Yeah!"*
*"Woo!"*
😂😂😂😂
That is how you finish a series. Bravo 👏
I love how she called Penny one of her two dearest friends in the world, even though he knew both Raj and Howard before that. Despite their quips, they grew to understand each other and become better people as a result. As much as Penny refused to “knuckle under” as far as Sheldon’s antics, their moments together (especially the soft Kitty ones) clearly brought them closer together.
Yeah. It kind of makes sense because they considered each other like siblings.
My favourite part about this scene is Amy's expressions as Sheldon is speaking. Just perfectly done
Okay, but finding out you're about to be grandparents during someone's Nobel Prize speech is kinda awesome though.
Dr. Sheldon Cooper for the win.
I can just imagine her dad buying beer hearing about it from the cashier, and her mom will be so excited her grandchild will be associated with the Nobel prizes in her town
Stuart the comic book store owner was again not included 😅
A literal perfect scene and example of character growth. Also if you think this scene is beautiful, then i recommend watching the table read for this scene.
If you notice in the table read read he doesn't tell Amy he loves her like he does in the final scene. I wonder if he added that himself.
Be it the wedding vows or the acceptance speech Sheldon nailed it better than anyone else in the show ❤
I noticed but leonard just looked so done. Even before the baby announcement he just looked so defeated with everything
Yeah i thought i was the only one who saw it. For most of the final episode, Leonard looked so done with everything
He was trying to control himself from crying, coz his version of what Sheldon's speech would be, got blown out of the windo
Lesson 101 on how to End an incredible series beautifully ❤
Is That BUFFY THE VAMPIRE SLAYER? 😂
To understand this speech you have watch the series. This is the best ending a fan can ever imagine ❤
Inspiring, funny and touching at the same time. One of the best ending ever made. 😢❤
I wonder if Sheldon is going to give a similar speech in the final episode of Young Sheldon when he receives his PhD from East Texas Tech and his entire family, along with Tam, Paige, and all his professors are there to see him go on from there.
Still bringing tears...
Seeing this on E4’s original broadcast felt so surreal, legit one of TBBT’s greatest moments 💙
*they were Real tears! Not just a show!* 💡
Wow sheldon you nailed it.
This is so sad I cried when I first watched this last episode
I love the Finale, great way to close out a great show. Sheldon changed the least out of the main group, even in the last two episodes he's no different than any other time in the show, I'd have thought the "star of the show" would have the most character growth but that's Howard imo
Definitely ❤
I want to say thank you for this serial and particular this final speech. That's a huge growth of Sheldon's character and his ground shaking and inspiring change. I cannot express how many emotions I felt and I was on the brink of crying knowing for a fact that I will never experience such supportive group of friends. Again thank you for this gift.
This was greatest TV speech of all time.
Great job, Sheldon. A+.
Part1 - Dear TBBT please post this clip:
-What's up buttercup?
-What's the word hummingbird?

Penny asked those to Sheldon in that chair episode 'The Infestation Hypothesis'.

Also readers, now you make up more stuff to say to people in general or of specific professions eg:

And THAT is how you end a great series!
The Young Shelton ending made this ending even more touching.
It is not Sheldon if he doesn't poke fun of his friends sarcastically!! 😂😂🤣🤣
I wish i could also listen to that selfcentered speech he prepared. He might have mention Dr Sturgis for example...
I have not seen this episode. I was waiting for a Bazinga moment of some sort.
This was the perfect ending for the show
Interestingly for me Sheldon told everybody to stand up in the opposite order I like them. This is the order I like them:
1 - Leonard
2 - Penny
3 - Howard
4 - Bernadette
5 - Raj
Best speech ever
What a high note to end the series on!
Amy wearing that tiara lol
That was freakin’ beautiful.
Still the greatest ending to any show
As good as this scene is, it could’ve been better and more realistic.
Throughout the episode Sheldon treats everyone like dirt to the point where they say they’ll be leaving. They forgive him for no reason but I think it would’ve been better if they didn’t and Sheldon goes on stage alone. He’s about to make his big speech about himself when he looks at the audience and see there is no there for him. Sheldon at that moment FINALLY realizes how important his friends are to him and how they helped him along the way. He changes the speech the way he does in the og version but ends it by saying he wishes his friends were there so he could tell them all of it in person. And right when he says that one of them makes a noise and he sees the gang in the entryway, having heard all the wonderful things he said about them and how he truly loves and cares for them.
Imo that would’ve been more powerful and a must better finale to this show
A almost cried
Awwwwwwwww Sheldon that is an Adorable and a Beautiful Speech 🥰😘💖🩷👍🏻💯🔥❤️😍You are the BEST and the COOLEST 👍🏻💯🔥and that is why I love The Big Bang Theory............It is Awesome and a Cool Show👍🏻💯🔥😎😊😁
James Joseph "Jim" Parsons (born March 24, 1973) is an American actor and producer. From 2007 to 2019, he played Sheldon Cooper in the CBS sitcom The Big Bang Theory. He has received various awards, including four Primetime Emmy Awards for Outstanding Lead Actor in a Comedy Series and the Golden Globe Award for Best Actor in a Television Series Musical or Comedy. In 2018, Forbes estimated his annual salary to be $26.5 million and named him the world's highest-paid television actor.
Parsons made his Broadway debut portraying Tommy Boatwright in the Larry Kramer play The Normal Heart (2011). He has since returned to Broadway acting in the plays Harvey (2012), An Act of God (2015), The Boys in the Band (2018), and Mother Play (2024).
In film, Parsons has voiced the lead character in Home (2015) and played supporting roles in Hidden Figures (2016), A Kid Like Jake (2018), Extremely Wicked, Shockingly Evil and Vile (2019), The Boys in the Band (2020), and Spoiler Alert (2022). On television he was Emmy-nominated for playing Tommy Boatwright in the HBO film The Normal Heart (2011) and Henry Willson in the Netflix series Hollywood (2020).
Early life and education
Parsons was born at St. Joseph Hospital in Houston, Texas, and was raised in one of its northern suburbs, Spring. He is the son of Milton Joseph "Mickey/Jack" Parsons Jr. and teacher Judy Ann (née McKnight). His sister, Julie Ann Parsons, is also a teacher.
After playing the role of the Kola-Kola bird in a school production of The Elephant's Child at age six, Parsons was determined to become an actor. He attended Klein Oak High School in Spring. Parsons points to a role in Noises Off during his junior year as the first time "I fully connected with the role I was playing and started to truly understand what it meant to be honest on stage." The young Parsons was heavily influenced by sitcoms, particularly Three's Company, Family Ties, and The Cosby Show.
After graduating from high school, Parsons earned a BA degree in Theater from the University of Houston. He was prolific during this time, appearing in 17 plays in three years. He was a founding member of Infernal Bridegroom Productions and regularly appeared at the Stages Repertory Theatre. Parsons enrolled in graduate school at the University of San Diego in 1999. He was one of seven students accepted into a special two-year course in classical theater, taught in partnership with the Old Globe Theater. Program director Rick Seer recalled having reservations about admitting Parsons, saying, "Jim is a very specific personality. He's thoroughly original, which is one reason he's been so successful. But we worried, 'Does that adapt itself to classical theater? Does that adapt itself to the kind of training that we're doing?' But we decided that he was so talented that we would give him a try and see how it worked out."
Parsons enjoyed school and told an interviewer that he would have pursued a doctorate in acting if possible: "School was so safe!.....You frequently would surprise yourself by what you were capable of, and you were not surprised by some things." Parsons graduated with a M.F.A. degree in acting from Old Globe Theatre/University of San Diego in 2001 and moved to New York. Parsons traced his family's history on TLC's Who Do You Think You Are? in September 2013, and discovered French heritage from his father's side. The French architect Louis-François Trouard (1729-1804) is Jim's sixth great-grandfather.
Give peace a chance 🕊
That was beautiful😊
It Be Funny If He Asked Buffy The Vampire Slayer To Stand Up, One More Nerd Moment Before The Series Ends
It would have been so better if sheldon and Leonard won the nobel and amy was pregnant
I actually came back here just to cry... 😢 😭 😿 😢
Why are people getting so emotional at his speech? I don’t see it
His speech was perfect, and in a way... Just like sheldon.
There could be honestly no better end to such a wonderful series. Astronaut Howard Wolowitz and their children will be both smart and beautiful are so so beautiful❤❤❤❤
O love him
Astronaut.......
i can't believe the swedish government actually awarded him the nobel prize
Definitely Sheldon's best moment and the most emotional scene is the the last episode
Sheldon finally apologies to all his friends, especially his wife and a girlfriend Amy.
He released a bad person from the start to good person in the end❤🎉😊
I love this moment, someone there was cutting onions...
They made literally zero effort to cast a believable Swedish Royal family….
... what?
@@e.m.rivera8948 What about that confuses you?

Brilliant scene unbelievable ending too bad it couldn't go on❤🎉
Y'all should watch the table read for this scene, it's a tear jerker.

Congratulations on winning the noble Prize, Sheldon, and Amy 🎉.
Hi The Big Bang Theory Hi Leonard and Penny
The one time Sheldon is humble
how could you not cry during this scene 😭😭😭
I admit I used to see the main characters as family. I saw Sheldon, Leonard, Howard and Raj as brothers and Amy, Penny and Bernadette as co-sisters-in-law. I also used to see Amy as Leonard, Howard and Raj's sister-in-law, Penny as Sheldon, Howard and Raj's sister-in-law and Bernadette as Sheldon, Leonard and Raj's sister-in-law. I admit I also used to imagine I was related to the main characters. I imagined Leonard and Penny as my parents, Sheldon, Howard and Raj as my paternal uncles and Amy and Bernadette as my paternal aunts by marriage. The show taught me a lot of lessons. Honestly Sheldon and Amy are my favorite characters from the show
Same here to be honest. Whenever I wanted an escape from reality, I always used to watch this show. I related so much to the characters that they felt like family. Kind of sad that the show ended despite the fact that it had a good ending.
I stopped doing it after a while because my parents told me to@@JuanEnriqueFloresJr
Yeah @@JuanEnriqueFloresJr
@@matiaspereira9382 Luckily, apparently there will be more spin-off shows after Young Sheldon ended
@@JuanEnriqueFloresJr I also think I imagined Leonard and Penny as my parents because they're the ones who remind me of my real parents. I also don't really see parent personality in Sheldon and Amy
🥺🥹🥹🥹 Geography is no science ✅ 😍🤩🤭🫡🫡🫡. Oh Doc Doc Sheldon - you are so cute and huggeble 🫦🎀💅💕🌸💞💓💘🎀👛🩷🎟️
I think the best part of this is how despite putting Howard down for so much of the show, in this moment he chose to lift Howard up. Howard doesn't have a Doctorate, but Sheldon still made the concious decision to use the title of astronaut so he could be part of the line of prestegious titles.
They should have done the speech without any of them to truly see the consequences of his actions and realizing far too late what he lost. The ending could play the same just without shelly. You can see it but leonard raj and Howard dont look happy
Buffy: Just to be clear, it isn't the date.
Raj: Yeah, I know.
Buffy: Then why did you holding my hand?
Raj: I don't know.🤣🤣🤣👱🏻♀🧛🏾♂🧛🏾♀👱🏻🧛🏾🩸🩸🩸⚰⚰⚰🌕
It were a touching speech that Sheldon made, I am actually glad that Sheldon and Amy won the nobel prize. It were the perfect sendoff for the show.
Sheldon was never good at giving credit, ever. Seeing that he’s expressing thanks here to all his friends and family. His family especially, specifically Missy and Georgie. You never thought he’d thank them for anything. Fair to say Sheldon amazed all of us.
For years, I found Sheldon so annoying, obsessive, unlikeable, obnoxious, childish, immature, irritating, rude, conceited, entitled, unsociable, unapproachable and selfish, but, watching this scene, the series finale scene, it just goes to show he can redeem himself and he has his good side, his good ways and his good points.
Despite that, I still think Either Raj or Penny should have been voted best Big Bang Theory Characters. (E.g Raj-best male character and Penny-best female character). I think there should have been a prequel called either Penny or Raj.
Honestly i think bernie is way more unlikeable than sheldon
Bernadette does verge on annoying sometimes. She is quite short-tempered.
The final scene? The final episode he still treated his "friends" poorly, how'd he redeem himself?
The only thing he did to redeem himself was move his self-centered speech to one side and express how lucky he was to have friends like Bernadette, Howard, Penny, Leonard, Raj and Amy stand by him and be there for him. Was that good enough to make up for all those years he'd been annoying know-it-all? I don't think so, no.
@josephlewis9237 I agree, even in the last episode he was disrespectful to his friends, he didn't redeem himself imo
The shark is in the rear view member.
Just remember - Sheldon will go right back to treating his friends and wife like garbage in less than 24 hours. Young Sheldon proves that he's still an ignorant, self-centered jackass. He's still a monster, just a slightly less black-hearted one. If anything he'll be even worse after the Nobel (apparently he wears it all the time according to Young Sheldon) because his ego has "evidence". cautionary tale here - they should've left them and let the show end on a darker tone to show that jerks only win so much.
Yeah, but as it is the finale, they had to give it a soppy how Sheldon has changed ending.
Kinda predictable.
Bro it’s a tv show the drama is made up so entertaining stuff happens
Stupid finale; it has a FALSE sense of closure/conclusion. This show should have ended after seven or eight seasons, and it dragged on for too long and that’s why it sucked. I hate how they ruined Penny‘s character and turned her into another version of Bernadette. Seriously, they treat their spouses like shit and it mostly simply because they consider themselves more attractive, and they make more money. I personally don’t think Bernadette is a good representation of women in science, because she acts like a nerd but he’s a total bitch. I honestly can’t imagine her being bullied as a teenager, which she claimed happened to her.
That's literally every show.
