I filmed the awesome 1977 Alfa Romeo 33 SC 12 at the 21st Vernasca Silver Flag 2016, the Castell'Arquato - Lugagnano - Vernasca hillclimb revival. In the video you can see the car in action: launch, accelleration, driving scenes, fly bys, curves, on board of the race and listen to the pure sound of the 12 cylinder engine.

The 33 SC 12 is the successor of the TT 33/12 and was produced from 1976 to 1977. It features a 3.0-liter flat-12 (boxer) engine, with more than 500 hp at 12,000 rpm. It has a total weight of 720 kg, and a maximum speed of 352 km/h.
The frame was "boxed" (hence the "SC"= scatolato in the name of the car).
With this car, Alfa Romeo regained the world championship sports prototypes in 1977, winning every race on the calendar in its class thanks to the drivers Arturo Merzario, Jean-Pierre Jarier and Vittorio Brambilla.

La 33 SC 12 è il modello successore della 33 TT/12 e fu prodotto dal 1976 al 1977. Ha un motore a 12 cilindri contrapposti (boxer), 3.000 di cilindrata con una potenza di oltre 500 CV a 12000 giri. Peso totale di 720 kg e velocitàà massima di 352 km/h.
Il telaio era "scatolato" (da qui "SC" nel nome della vettura).
Con questa vettura, l'Alfa Romeo riconquistò il campionato mondiale sport prototipi del 1977, vincendo tutte le gare in calendario nella propria categoria grazie ai piloti Arturo Merzario, Jean-Pierre Jarier e Vittorio Brambilla. - Auta a dopravní prostředky
