This guy is driving a valuable vintage racing car, and wisely he does preserve the mechanics revving it moderately.In addition, we don't know what the power train overall condition was, so I sincerely blame those disrespectful comments from people who have no clue what driving such a car means.

It must be so painful to be the driver, having to suppress the car's ability like that because it's a rare car. You can tell he's nowhere near floored, and doesn't ever go to high RPMs.
probably he's afraid of over reving, actually is easier to get trough there on a lower gear, even if you're going slower... is about making noise and keeping the engine happy...
Missing shifts... getting on the 1st chicane on the wrong gear... most turns are taken a gear too high, should keep the engine on the pipe, is better for the fans ! If not I'll come next year and do it ! ;-)
