Hi Ryan! Just to add to the conversation. I've made $220 USD so far in my 3 weeks of being a community tutor. I'm currently approaching 40 lessons! So exciting! I'm thinking of slowly raising my lesson prices as I hit milestones, the first being 50 lessons. The transparency you are able to provide in terms of finance is incredibly helpful. $220 USD for 40 lessons = $5.5/lesson, are you a native speaker? Can you live with that?

How much money?
So there's no such thing as earning from 3$ up to 20$ per hour for each student?
The beginning of this month has been not that good, but now it's getting better. I have more new students now, probably because of the low cost of my trial lesson.

Hi I was just watching this video scrolling Through the messages at the same time and I saw yours and I just want to say that it's possible to make up to 1200 a month although I have never did that I think most I made is 1000 and I just started teaching I talked to maybe one year and a half now or maybe two years times going by fast but anyways basically your schedule will be open 24/7 so you sleep here there and everywhere meaning all times of the day night and your lesson cost would probably be around for the 60 minute eight to $9 for the thirty minutes six to $7 for the 45 minute one between seven to nine it would be in the low price. S so I put my last name Canada it's kind of like if people want to learn the Canadian English versus the American English British English Australian English, South Africa
Were you a community teacher or professional teacher? I thought you can set your own rate
I wish that Italki give to Tutors at least 4 clasess a day to have a actual part time because 3 clasess a day it dosent pay 😭
you can only teach 3 classes per day ? I didn't know about that
Some teachers only have 3 classes a week... And some have 3 classes a month 😔
Update 🔴 now I can teach more than 3 now I can book almost 10 class a day.✌✌✌✌

How are you guys making good money? I made around 100 USD my first month.
I made during my first month 300 $...
I saw some teachers who put their hourly price the lowest possible and availability 24 hours/day, and sleep between classes. This is not good money.
$5/h x200 hours= $1000/month minus the commission
