Not sure why you would ruin your dodge to use a tower shield and take a feast for it. Large Sheila’s are great for maintaining decent Dodge. I would probably drop tower shield for quicken. That way you cannot be interrupted when trying to cast raise when you are the last person alive. You don’t need t4 vistani. You are a pally cast deathward don’t waste 20+ aps. The only quest you really have is to worry about dw strip is dryad raid. You can either cast deathward again or use a 4 pc filagree (
i dont think you *need* the vistani stuff imo its better to grab the hands out of sacred defender, qualiti hp and sprint boost from falconry and 2 sec deflect from vanguard, and with the quality there you can drop the deific warding and grab another feat. deathward should be enough for neg lvls or if your in a quest/raid that strips them i recomend have a minor artifact switch for the clarity neg imunity like in dnd.
Well, I personally want neg level immunity. There's common tanking situations where deathward gets bypassed, for example unicorns in dryad raid. But yes you could run without it but you'd be a much worse tank in those situations as a result. It depends a lot of what content you plan on tanking.
@@AxelAlexK Good point. I think in Dryad and Skeletons, Deathward doesn't get bypassed, it gets stripped. I often find that I can catch the moment when I lose it, and I can reapply it before taking any negative levels.
From my experience dnd is the only one where you really need the neg imunity, in skelly the trex is the main threat and the ghost flame dont cast it frequently enough for it to matter and deathward the spell is usually enough
I don't use LoH all that much, renewal plus shard storm temp HPs is my bread and butter most of the time. But I have not noticed any issues with them from what I've seen.
Both can work really well. I wouldn't say either is better though can't speak much for Fighter Tanks as I've not built one. Pally gets useful spells and better saves, fighters get the feats. Pally is probably easier to put together for a first lifer.
It was an under optimal conditions crit with lots of debuffs on the mob but the one I've seen do it can be found here: forums.ddo.com/index.php?threads%2Fthe-kighter-an-aa-falconry-dws-archer.342%2F
Check out ddowiki.com, DDO.com forums and the DDO official discord. And my discord. Lots of resources and people around who are happy to help new players.
You would probably be better suited taking 2 lvls of fighter over pure pally the capstone is not very good. Fighter gives you 2 feats as well as 2 second deflect arrows which is very strong out of vanguard tree.
IMO the capstone is good, lots of solid benefits there. The two feats would just go to more toughnesses and those are always nice on a tank but I personally prefer to have the pally capstone. I can also get the 2 sec deflect arrows out of pally vanguard if I wanted though I already have the 6 second one out of vistani. 18/2 is a solid option too but not my preference.
Thanks for you video. I have a hard core Pally that needs some attention and this really fits the bill.
Inspired! thanks Axel ⚔️
You're welcome!

Curious what is the mitigation difference between 300 and 400prr?

Is Hands of the Sentinel and light the dark still good with the bugs on them?

Is a paladin tank better or a fighter tank better? Fighters get more feats, and a sort of healing with the last stand ability.

feats ?

Apparently that build was recently hit hard by the hunts end changes so don't know what its burst DPS is at now.
new to the game, a bit confused with the start
