Axel I always appreciate your content-this panel format has a lot of potential but I feel like you are still feeling out a formula to get it to work effectively. 6 panelists is maybe too many-I wish you’d limit the number to just a few guests as the conversation here gets crowded and not everyone is able to fully contribute. Some panelists have more quality things to say. There are two panelists who I didn’t get anything from but one of these talked quite a lot in the first half. Make the topic specific and keep it to an hour and I think you’ll see something that people respond to and find useful. It should be lively, constructive and positive. The long Grey Tunnels of Myth Drannor. I did 6 quests and I cant tell you a single thing about them. They seem to have skipped putting activities or mechanics in the quests I played

I tried bringing the SoS and eSoS to the temple and nothing try getting into the whirlwind but nothing, I wonder if you cast ddor there maybe? i dont have it, and its too late to restart my ed tree again to get it.

So far, I've gotten more sun/moon augments than times to put them in.

So firstly thank you for this - great content as always. Next, two questions - have they dialled back the cringey comedy attempts (no more mind flayer dating….) and would you recommend purchasing it? I ask the last one because I haven’t purchased Vecna yet and am not feeling like I am missing out too much (having to drop out of parties as they move to those quests etc).

So far, all I've experienced in regards to Myth Drannor is the public zone and the heroic wilderness. The public zone is small, but seems a proper staging area for expeditions to the ruins of Myth Drannor. The NPC dialogues seem fine, though I did see a string table error on one, iirc, and a few grammatical errors. My exploration of the wilderness has its ups and downs. I've had issues with rares spawning (only saw 1 rare by the time I maxxed out my slayers at 9,000). I doubt that is bad luck. Something seemed bugged. I spent all of my time out there solo (about 12+ hours over 10 days). There were bugs with doors to the purple rares (the dragon area in particular) not working at all, so I couldn't enter to even check several times. Sometimes though, the doors worked. Again, seems very buggy. The area is beautiful, the music is splendid! However, it's way too big of a space with not much going on outside of the center of the map. I truly feel it's WAY too big, and should have been 1/3 of its current size. There's so much empty space that is nearly void of anything other than shrubs and trees. For example, the Standing Stone region of the map, to the southwest is just so empty. Sure there are clumps of mobs there, but otherwise there're no explorers, no journal entries, no rares. So, even though it's quite beautiful to behold and listen to, the outer areas of the map are just rather useless. I do like the use of the new monsters, and the variety of monsters in the wilderness (as they will help me fill out some parts of the Monster Manuals for account awards). I'd give the wilderness zone a 7/10 (1 point off for the bugs, 2 points off for the vast emptiness of about 2/3rds of the zone). Hopefully, I'll start the quests tomorrow or later this week (a busy summer here). Thanks for the 3 hour in-depth analysis and review!

The wilderness is a mixed bag for sure. I did it in story order the first time, and I agree, it would have made good sense to lay them out so story order could be done more naturally. While this one is large, its mostly unobstructed, so I find I an just click on a quest entrance, get on a mount, and run there quickly. When exploring it feels huge, but when making a bee line, its not so big. I think there are plenty of mobs, but there are not a lot of good points of interest. (Necro 3 is probably the coolest so far as that goes, with specific encounters and not just random mob packs.)

Myth Drannor.. looks pretty, but loot sucks

It's almost like they hid the feats under a layer of unnecessary complexity. Especially these high level characters, why not just add plus one crit no strings attached. Or plus 5% critical damage chance for casters no strings attached. No need to tumble, no need to hit an action boost, no "only applies the second Tuesday on a leap year" nonsense. I know that sounds like power creep but I'm only talking about the highest level feats since we did just go to level 34.

Some of the feats don't feel Epic or Legendary.... 🤷🏻‍♂

the main thing that's stopping me from playing is the annoying complexity & i love the depth & love making builds but systems & invy & just bloat its just gets annoying as a modr id love to simplify and combined stuff so its just less stuff & delete like 20% of this game :) example rebirthing should be simpel go to trainer & hit rebirth & its free with no run-around no BS annoying stuff to sell u things.....this game needs enema💩

The hireling feat is kinda weird because its saying "waste a feat because our ai is so bad" perhaps it should grant a bit extra like 5 melee power or universal spell power etc in addition

my mod idea let people use alts as hireings so u can make a solo dream team & switch between them & lvl 4 toons at the same time .. NOT sure if its too much work or even will work but it sounds like fun to me :) i hate that u cant keep or lvl the hiring i get attached to them ;(

dear devs say this it with me ( depth is fun complexity is annoying ) i love this game but the unnecessary complexity make me NOT want to play it. & as a modder this game makes me go crazy :( just let me fix your shit .... this game good :) but then u let the annoying fake rocket sicatest scammer kid mess with the systems :( & what ever dev is doing that fier them because your gamers r smart & your not fooling anyof them listen to them🦉

I see these like the sun/moon augments-all designed to give some versatility to characters missing something in either feats or enhancements or equipment. It may not seem immediately impactful but I think adds a dimension that could be useful depending on a range of factors. I’m still gonna loot the heck out of it! Thanks Axel!

the obvious good use for tumbling is to tumble leading into a fight so you take less while you're killing some of the adds

Inspire Bond! I just used it! A complete piece of shit! 1. Does not work on the skeleton of the pale master. 2. Only resurrect the hire ONCE. 3. The tiny bonus of prr/mrr does not appear in the exam and I did not make any difference, it probably does not work. I have a Summon Build and this FEAT is TRASH, USELEES!

What I think these feats prove is that the developers don't know DDO

Patience was obviously suggested by someone doing push raids and will only use it in a very specific niche in a very specific group in a very specific push raid situation.

I already find the attack rate on THF too low... and then go 10% lower? That's gonna hurt.

Designing the majority of these feats to be reliant on Action Boosts is a big mistake, in my opinion. Very strange design choice.
