I'm so excited for this release. The Akoustic Band was my favorite of Chick's ensembles - how could it not be, with three of Jazz's greatest players working so synchronously. It looks like there's video footage, so i hope there's a concert footage release as well as the album. Way to go , Chick; we're so sorry you're gone, but your legacy will live on for ever.

The last time I talked to John Patitucci was about 35 years ago doing a gig in San Clemente with my brother Kevin...its been a long time...very sad losing Chick and my brother...RIP
