Nice air jack Frank. I would prefer their longer handle versions that keeps you away from what your lifting...I would definitly fab a bracket extention on the one you got to get away from the drop zone lol!
The pressure is 8 kilogrammes of air pressure per centimetre square or 113PSI to you Frank !!! The 3 tons is written for US tons (or short tons for me) Very good of them to send you one to try, can see it will have pros and cons, as with any jack, it will always require support too !! 👍🤓
Well Frank, if they give you that one free you could buy a second one, lol. For a lot of things in the shop they would be handy and quick. Nothing worse than cranking a bottle jack 200 times to get things up 5". The extended handle would be a good idea. Keep smilin
I have 4 of these jacks and I can have a vehicle up in the air for 3 days without these loosing any air pressure and can lay under vehicle without body stands and completely trust them. 21.09 4August 2023
Nice jack and super quick. I'm with you 100% on not trusting any jacks. Make me as nervous as a long tailed cat in a room full of rocking chairs to see someone under something with just a jack...
i have 4 off them i like to use them out off the shop floor jack works good on hard surfice so they can roll under what you lift the air jacks go streat up and easer the botale jacks i like mine
Good video, Sir. Not too sure about that jack, if working in the shop would be Ok, i guess ! I'll stick with my air over Hydraulic jack and the floor jacks !! your friend from snowy and COLD Michigan !!
I think the one with the handle would be a lot handier, and it’s hard to beat a good floor jack for most things. But this beats dragging out a hydraulic jack for sure. Not exactly lightweight, but it’s easy and quick.
Frank… that’d be handy to have around the shop for those quick tire changes. And, for use on gravel too. My dinky two ton floor jack is a pain to maneuver in the driveway. About those destruction sheets… most of them aren’t very user friendly. They don’t answer the basic questions that owners have… weight capacity and working heights are in metric without US values for example. There are no assembly details or sketches. Or, they are so blurred you can’t make them out. On my Porter Cable router there are six pages of safety warnings. But, they don’t give you a table of RPM speeds for different sized bits. Nor, do they list the length for the plunge stroke. If you want to know the max opening of the base plate you have to measure it. It’s almost like the only ones they consulted in putting the instructions together were their Liability Lawyers! Sorry for the rant…. Thanks for the chance to let off a little steam!

Yeah I think you’re right, would be nice to not be under the load with it. They sell both versions. But I’m sure I could fab something up.
@@Digginok When you hit the saftey release in the video I almost jumped out of my chair!
Longer the handle more chance of a person tripping over it and logging insurance claim.

Thanks for the review Frank, I have looked at those and the air bottle jacks!

I have a 1962 Case CK.... 8850lbs
Nice addition to add to the shop tools.
I got a buddy that use to have a fith wheel sling, that had an airbag like that. Never failed.
Good practicality tool.

That IV hose they used can be converted to an actual IV line while waiting for the ambulance. These jacks are a disaster.
17:22 maybe put a gauge on it to see what pressure the safety blowoff valve releases at
not sure how i feel about it having that pressure relief

Yeah definitely need a good jackstand or some blocks handy, but it’s fast! thanks for watching
Great product better than hydrologic
Not safe to lift both sides at the same time. The load will shift sideways. Designed to lift only one wheel at a time,
Yes I agree
I'm sure there are occasions when this jack would be more appropriate than a normal floor jack and vice-versa.
Yeah for sure!
bent my 3 ton floor jack. i was just looking at the 5 ton air jack

@@sassafrasvalley1939 As an ex safety professional I totally agree the safety direction is completely mis guided.
You cut it twice and it's still to short lol
I've got the one on wheels and it wont lift the front of my 98 Chevy 1/2 ton!
