- In this video we assemble and test out my new VEVOR Pneumatic air jack!
This style is very popular on the web when searching for an air jack, so if you don't have this brand it may still be helpful. The instructions leave a lot to be desired so I made this video to help others assemble it. There is some trial and error, and mistakes were made, but in the end we figured it out!
www.amazon.com...
If you read the comments before you get to the video; watch the whole video before assembling the jack. The instructions that came with it suck! Thanx for the vid bruh, I was lost til I saw this. I will stress watching the video in its entirety; disassembling and reassembling it wastes time.
Yea it sucks to have to take it back apart, but that's the point of this video, to decipher these instructions so everyone can understand it. I didn't want to hide my mistake lol. Glad it helped you!
The so-called instructions were an absolute JOKE!! Thank you so much for this video Blake, extremely helpful!!
Glad it helped!
Thank you Blake. You saved the day. My jack didn't even have washers included.
I bought 2 of these Amazon had them for $70 each so I had too unfortunately the bolts and air control block arnt matching anyone else's jack
I really liked your video and it was very helpful. My instructions blew out of the box going down the highway so I had none. Thank you.
Good video! Would it be possible to put the jack on 4x4's slightly bigger than the base of the jack to lift the Jeep?
That is the plan of I have to use it for the jeep. I'm actually looking at quick Jacks so I may not use this one much.
I used mine on the highway to change a wheel on a little Volkswagen then I used it Sunday to raise a dodge 1500. I put a new clutch in it.
Instructions was terrible, I figured out everything but the spring but thanks to you I got it worked out , great video and thanks again
Great to hear!
The spring is a strain relief for the section of the hose that flexes when you swivel the handle, to prevent it from kinking.
The spring slides over the plastic air hose and goes all the way to the bottom. It is used in the same manner thousands of other springs over flexible hoses are used; to protect the hose from chaffing and kinking as it goes into the bottom end of the handle.
Thanks for the video....I took mine out of the box this afternoon, read the instructions, and thought I was having a stroke lol.
Glad it helped! The included ones aren't worth the paper it's printed on.
Great video someone else had a video but made it like you had to inflat it all the way instead og the height needed so thanks as I just got one.
Glad it helped
Unscrew the airbag and turn it line it up with handle
Just bought one. It no longer has the spring and the mounting bracket comes installed.
I have one still in the box
Blake you helped me make the buy it decision. However, the shipping cost isn't clear so could end up very high. What was your cost for shipping?
I got mine from Amazon and it had free shipping with prime.
might it be easier to send the air pipe from to to bottom- just a thought if you do not have a wire
I'm wondering are they worth the expense and having to assemble it.
For very light duty, the concept is nice, but not for high lift or heavy stuff. My jeep fell off and broke the lift pad off.
It will raise 17 inches
I have had my Vevo pneumatic air jack for a month now. Does it lift a vehicle? Yes, it does. The instructions to assemble the handle to the base are terrible. Did I mention they are terrible? You would think this would be simple task but you will see diffently if you buy one. The very limited instruction manual was written by someone who's native language was definitely not English. Remember you were warned. My biggest complaint was that the wheels are elevated so high to the base that they will not roll on a level concrete floor. They are nearly 1 /1/2" above the concrete so the jack will not roll across the floor. All in all the engineering on these jacks leaves a lot to be desired. You will see if you buy one. Trying to communicate with their customer service is about as poor as their engineering. Just find something else to spend your money on.
That's exactly why I made this video. The instructions are horrible. Lol
How does the tube connect to the air bags? Is it replaceable?
It comes pre installed. You would have to dismantle a good bit of the base to get to it.
Good video. Does anyone know what size and type of hose they use on these?
I know it's pretty cheap clear tube. I don't have it close by too get a size though.
Looked like 3/8 hose, The hole was small.
They used google translate from Chinese to English on the instruction lol
and very poorly!
