I always feel completely out of my depth at the start of all these videos and by the end I know I've learned something vital, just not always sure what. 30 minutes of practice later, it all starts to make sense and I feel a great sense of having taken a step forward. I love this way of learning. Thank you so much, Wayne.
Good Wayne! I’ve been around music all my life and have a basic understanding of theory so everything you say turns a light on in my head. So great to have someone put together in such a matter of fact and practical way. Every lesson speaks volumes!
I'm so glad I discovered this channel. Thank you Wayne, you are a great teacher - hard to put a finger on exactly the qualities, but I guess that's why it's a rare gift :) Thanks.
I'm glad you found it too Dave! July 9th of 2021 will mark one year since the channel "went public". I plan to do a "Celebrating One Year" episode.....
This is such a good lesson, got so much out of this! Can’t wait to try some of this out on stage. Something I never really had a go of/or understood before. Can’t wait for the next video 👍🏻
Thx for that comment! Someday I'll make a video playing with a 12 bar blues backing track as part of a blues series of videos. Everyone should be able to play the blues in all keys.....
I appreciate that Rodney. This is great stuff to play and can often help players break out of doin the same thing every time you sit down with the mandolin.
The intro music on all of the videos is original stuff that I wrote. None of the mando tunes have names but the mandola intro you'll here on some of the content is called Buck and Chloe. Thx for asking!
Great lesson

You're very welcome! Glad you enjoy the channel and I appreciate the comment.
This is such a great lesson . Really one of the best mandolin teachers I've seen on CZcams . Thanks Wayne
I certainly appreciate that compliment and I'm glad you enjoy WWOM!
Thank you so much, great lesson ! Cheers from France

There will be more blues lessons to come Scott!
I really loved the part at the end about using a backing track to play along with...genius!

great stuff Wayne, killer blues sounds. That mando sounds pretty sweet too!
Thx Drew! I love A models for blues and swing. This one has super low action so I play it a lot teaching....
Great stuff!
Blues music is so fun on mandolins. Eventually there will be an entire series of blues content here on the channel.
This is the stuff

What is that intro song you play on most of your videos?
