These are beautiful colors!! Thank you for all your hard work on making these videos for us. I have these in my amazon cart lol. I know that the maker of star joys are coming out with a new 120 set some time at the end of august/Sept. I will be getting those as well. 😊
I'm glad to see you swatch and color a little with these pencils. I've been hoping that you would give them a try. I would love to see you color more with them. I have a set of them, and I really enjoy using them. I found a few that are scratchy, but overall I'm happy with them.

@@PamelasPassionforPencils What I wouldn't do to be born American.... so many things in my life would have been so much easier if I were. Don't get me wrong, Canada is a nice country, but the only difference is population and health care ( though we do pay for health care in our very high taxes ) I have always liked American people and have had good experiences. I know... off topic..LOL.
I'm quite new to adult colouring and have recently purchased a Castle Arts bundle which includes the soft touch 120 set and the Gold 120 set and I've noticed that the colours including the names are 90% the same as these Star Joy originals so suspect some white labelling on these 2 sets. Has anyone else noticed this. Interested to know what others think. BTW I'm obsessed with your videos so informative. Thank you

Hi, Pamela…….could you please do that leaf demo again? But this time, instead of comparing Polychromos with Star Joy, could you please compare Polychromos and Prismacolor? You said you lay down wax pencils differently than oil pencils, but I don’t understand what that means. So, I thought if I could watch you using the pencils on the same page, I would understand better. Thanks!!!!!
I was just coloring with these in a RITA berman book, did t like the results…so I switched to Castle Art and saw a big difference. I only own budget pencils, I get great results with all,of them. This is a hobby for me.
I love how you knew to try a different book. So many people make a judgment on pencils before trying them in different books or on different paper. I love Prismacolor but they don’t work well in all books. I don’t like using them on smoother paper at all because they just slide across the paper if it’s not toothy enough.
With the Star ⭐️ Joy, what is the mid-tone color. I was able to catch cadmium green pale and olive green. I’ve watched it over and over but wasn’t able to get the middle color. Thank you for the video 🌻 it’s very helpful 💖

I find personally that the polys don't perform at their best in Johannes books. On the other hand I did a page in Millie marottas book and wow what a difference. They did very well on that paper. Karen from Canada

My favorite color is that Green Gold.

Could you call out the colors as you swatch them? I do my own swatching so I would not mind swatching along with you.

I did not notice much of a difference between the two personally.

The greens are different shades; the Star-Joy was more olive; the Polychromos was brighter

I agree. Next time I’ll take out my Eiry books. That work beautifully in that book.
