@@omarcarnegie7614 I was looking at a Kia Soul to buy (2nd gen) like a 2019, they use either a 1.6L GDI or 2.0L GDI. I don't want either, I do want the 6 speed automatic transmission. On the 2020 Kia Soul you can get either a 1.6L turbo GDI engine or a 2.0L MPI (multi-port/multi-point injection) engine, I guess their GDI 2.0L was so crappy they threw out the GDI version and went back in time to MPI/MPFI injection. I like the 2020 but I'm not going to buy it with their new "IVT" CVT transmission. They're already having all sorts of problems. So the Kia Soul is out of consideration all together for me. Too bad, it's perfect for what I needed and very comfortable, I have a bad back but he Soul has plenty of room for 6 footers like me. I'm not going to buy a car with a CVT unless it's a Toyota, and #2 stay away from GDI (self-destruct) engines, unless the fuel injection is a hybrid style where they have direct injectors + MPI injectors as a backup system to keep the intake valves clean. That's the new style of GDI.

Had a 1988 Nissan S.E. truck manual is went over 300k before it blew the head gasket. Sold it to a friend who fixed it and still drives it . My 88 Jeep Cherokee was very reliable. I'm keeping my 2001 Toyota Tacoma trd has a 3.4 supercharger and it's hopefully the last vehicle for the next 15 years top was rebuilt everything while installing the TRD supercharger. They don't make the trucks like they did. I definitely think they know about transmission issues ect to make money after paying up to 50k for a new one or more. No way.

I had the first year Titan (bought used about 1 year old, end of lease), and other then warped brake rotors, which were eventually replaced under warranty with a newer design, and a leaking front differential, which was also warranty replaced, that Titan was trouble free and my favorite truck I've ever had (and I've bought/driven LOTS of trucks) . @_ZAVALA, Unfortunately because of CAFE standards for mpg efficiency, many automakers including my own employer (Ford) has had to place smaller engines into all vehicles as to comply with government regulations. No one knew that Trump would become President and freeze those regulations. The automakers make these decisions a few years in advance to try and get and meet a lower fleet mpg standard average. The mpg standards are the average of all the vehicles an automaker sells.
Personally, the V8 Coyote 5.0 litre engine that is solely made at Essex Engine Plant in Windsor Ontario Canada is the best and should be the ONLY engine to enter the engine bay of a F-150 pickup truck.......and a Mustang too. Sadly, to meet the government requirements means that Ford doesn't advertise much when it comes to the V8 Coyote engine. They push the ecoboost 4 cylinder and 6 cylinder engines. Ugh.

Even if the titan is soooo bad, they provide a 5yr/100k mile bumper to bumper warranty as standard. This is best in the market and seems fairly low risk with a warranty so damn good. not to mention, if these were plagued with so many issues, a warranty like this would put them out business.
