Grantchester is an ITV detective drama, set in the 1950s Cambridgeshire village of Grantchester, near Cambridge. It was first broadcast in 2014. The show features Anglican vicar Sidney Chambers (James Norton), who develops a sideline in sleuthing with the help of Detective Inspector Geordie Keating (Robson Green).

My wife and I recently went to Grantchester. It really is as wonderful there as it looks. This is such a great series, and I've read the books too.

I was never a crazy about Amanda, but I must say one thing… This is the best series I have ever seen in my 79 years of life. James Norton is absolutely magnificent and an outrageously marvelous actor. Everybody in this show acts as if you was real life.I am binging on Amazon prime, and I will be sad when the series is over. Now in season three episode two. Fantastically perfect show.❤

Morven Christie is great in this role.She is like a tragic heroine in Italy. I can see why she played Juliet.Where can I see her performance as Juliet? James is heartbreaking and has wonderful chemistry with Morven. From Dianne

I hope they keep the show going. As great as James Norton is the role can either be recast or bring in a new Vicar. I'd rather Norton but he seems to busy. There are other actors.
